Hi! My name's Jen and I'm a sophomore at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. I'm double majoring in creative writing and history, and I plan on writing books for teens/young adults some day in the future. I've completed one book called "Four to Stand," the prologue of which I've already posted. I'm trying to get it published, but who knows what will happen there?

I love to read, but I don't get much of a chance to since I'm usually doing homework or trying to edit my book. I also love history, most specifically American history, the Holocaust, and the history of the Russian and British monarchies (well, autocracy in Russia, but who needs technicalities...?).

Anyway, I'd love to hear any sort of praise or constructive criticism (especially the latter!) on any of my work that I post. I also can't wait to start reviewing and seeing what everyone else has out there!
Very Happy

HI!!!

... I don't know what to say!

Wait, wait, wait. I think I've just had a breakthrough. I'm new here too, so... how about I review your work, and you review mine? OK? OK??? OK?!

... please...

Welcome!

Wait... you're in college, and you're majoring in creative writing, and you've finished a novel, and you made your words that pretty orange...

I'm a fifteen-year-old sophomore dreaming of Dartmouth who has never written more on a story than about 20,000 words.

Okay, Areida's got a new hero. You are seriously awesome.

Wow, those were quick replies!! Haha.

To Icaruss--yup, I'll review your work! Just give me a few minutes to figure out how to find it! Haha.

To areida--20,000 words is good! Seriously! A lot of people can't even do that. So keep on writing and you'll be great at it in no time!

I once did two reports that have 20,647 words in total. That sucked royally.

Anyway, welcome to the site. How did you hear of us by the way?

I'll give you a clue: One of them is in the front page.

Thanks a bunch. And have fun writing.

Well, my favorite website of all time is Writing.com, and there was a link to this site on one of the pages there. I decided to check this site out, because I thought it would be cool to have another place to post my work and get reviews (and return the favors, of course...).

I totally recommend going to that site, by the way. It's amazing.

Here's the link:
http://www.writing.com/

Check it out! And, in case you're curious, here's a link to my portfolio on that site:

20,000 words! Man, I don't know how I get the patience to write 2,000 words!

Yes, I have completely and totally given up on novel writing. I think I'll stick to poetry. It doesn't take that long to write.
