Have you ever noticed how many questions little kids ask, im listing below the top 5 and im wondering if you could help me finish.
#1. why is the sky blue?(does anyone really know)
#2. where do babies come from?(no not storks)
#3. whats a hoo hoo look like?(this is a question from my 5 year old cousian brook)
#4. they like to repeat why after every sentence
#5. do girls really have cooties and what are cooties?
I have actually had kids ask me these questions, try answering some of them(lol)
but really maybe you have some better ones. |

#1 - The light from the sun (which is white light - light with all the colours of the spectrum) enters out atmosphere. Part of it, however, is refracted, and the wavelength that is rfracted is... blue  .
Of course, it's easier to just tell the little kids the sky is reflecting the sea - not true, but it shuts 'em up  .
#2 - I'll tell you when you're older.
Maybe.
#3 - I don't know. It's probably blue though.
#4 - Then you reply to them 'Why won't you shut up?' and then simply ask 'why' after each of their answers.
Let them suffer a little bit.
#5 - Yes they do. Never touch girls. They're evil. |

The archaic meaning for cooties is lice. So when you read about a girl's cooties, and she's wearing a handkerchief that is soaked in kerosene, most likely she has lice.
The meaning has slightly altered from that though. |
