Well I am definitely no artist like you but if I had to suggest something to make this better I would say to....

Try and find a way to make the snake on his head more three dimensional and more realistic like the rest of the painting and to define the line of were the black background ends and were the picture begins because it is kind of fuzzy. But I really don't know what I'm talking about because the only art I do is clay but I hope I helped.

This is really good, looks just like him!

The only thing I can really be picky about is the snake thing on the top of his head. It looks kind of fuzzy, the lines aren't very defined. Just work on that and it'll be even better!

Drawing a line along the vertical axis of whatever object you are drawing will make it much easier for you to achieve symmetry. Drawing an entire grid might help as well.

The rough, black lines you drew on the image sort of clash with the stereotypical Egyptian style of artwork. You might not have been tying to do it by the book, but if you were, here are some thing you can do to eliminate that aspect of the work:

1. If this is a painting, add more water/oil/whatever solvent you are using to the paint. The dryer the brush is, the more the texture of the brush and surface you're drawing on will show through.
2. If this drawing was done in crayon/some other equivalent- press down harder! Using a hand-made stencil might be a good idea, but only if you're one of those folks that like to get really involved.

Don't be afraid to mix medias. Sometimes, just one medium won't be enough to achieve what you're trying to accomplish.

Hey this is really good! Was it done with chalks?

I think I agree with andfromnowon about it being more symmetrical, whenever I draw faces I always use the centre line technique - It always helps in keeping thins in proportion and the same as the other side.

Other than that well done _ i really do like your art work!

All the best,
Meevs

i know it was a bit wonky wasn't it! i copied this from a very small stamp for my art homework and used anything i could get my hands on, oil pastels, water colours and chalks. thanks fro your advise! ill try it again another time and maybe get it to look more Egyptian! and in symmetry obviously lol thanks!
