Some Kind of Ship: Cal's Table of Doom Amidships Contest

First I want to thank all of you guys for the great shorts. Galerius, TL G-Wooster, and I scored this contest like so: (-) minus for maybe, (0) zero for okay, (+) for yea; each of those got a number, there were some 0+ and ++, the extra plus counts as .5 and such. Also I want you guys to know that this was a very, very close race. First and second place are separated by 1.5 points.

Now for the results!

Second Place goes to Conrad Rice.

First Place goes to BigBadBear.

Judges Choice Awards

I will be contacting the winners asap. Thanks as well to the guest judges who helped me.

So me never having done one of your competitions before...Erm... I have a question!

Are all 5 stories meant to be linked together in some way? (i.e. Same world/characters etc.)?

This looks interesting. I've always wanted to enter one of your contests. I can't promise, but I'll definitely try to come up with something.

YAY!

It makes me squeel with joy like a farm pig covered in mud that people are interested.

No, they do not have to be linked together at all. You can have different worlds, different characters, etc. You can have any number of different types of entries: stories, poems, scripts...

Ta,
Cal.

Erm, no, but sailing or a ship has to play a large part in the psychical plot.

Yay! You wrote, Jared!

Very Happy
