Hmm. I really want to do this. Mainly because I'm not religious in the slightest bit, but it's best to be open-minded and step outside your beliefs sometimes. So this would be interesting.

But which picture? Four amuses me. Three, two, six? *eyes spin*

This will either be a very early or a very last minute entry ^_^;

Number six gives me ideas but 'spiritually bigger' might be tricky. I may have to check my idea with you, see if it fits the definition. Or perhaps I'll write it first and leave it open for discrediting.

*Boogies*

Number two, number two!

It's actually really good for me to write this, I think. I mean, take a look at your own writing. While not always the center focus, there's usually God in there. Then look at mine. There never is. (If there were, maybe less of my characters would commit suicide? XXD)

I think I'm gonna have to do some research for this... and stalk all you religious-folk out there. Wink

But the prompts are great, and a whole story is unraveling for me for number two. *Glee*

And I looooove your critiques, so I'm gonna try my hardest to get first or second. *Glares at good writers* I want one! XXD

I'm glad you ended up posting this. XD

(Oh, and poke me sharply if I forget about it.)

I added a small note of importance concerning prizes: All stories for review must be posted on YWS.

I was thinking about it last night and realized I was horribly vague. I larger being doesn't, as I said, need to be God. It can be death, the being that takes you, or perhaps the fact that everyone returns to the earth, and the earth is a greater being, or the one-ness of everyone in the world, or reincarnation. Just no plain we live to die and die to rot. ^_~

Merely because I'm impressing myself upon my writing. Razz Which is why this contest could be hard for some people, if they don't have the beliefs.

I do not want this to be a "it must be God" contest. Heck, make something up!

Quote:
Many races believe that the Universe was created by some sort of god or in the Big Bang. The Jatravartid people, however, believe that the Universe was sneezed out of the nose of a being called the Great Green Arkleseizure. They live in perpetual fear of the time they call "The Coming of the Great White Handkerchief". The theory of the Great Green Arkleseizure is not widely accepted outside Viltvodle VI.
Thank you Douglas Adams. (link)

I only want to stretch your imagination. You don't even have to believe in what you are writing.

And, please, Heather or all others, if you have questions about what you're doing post them here because they could be relevant to others.

I'm glad people are already excited!

Hey Suz! I want to enter this contest so much. I have a question, though. Could it be an angel? It's not God, but would an angel work?

That's okay, Suz. I was wondering if I could use death but you already answered my question.

I've started writing and I am finding it difficult - I have never wrote anything really spiritual before. But I think this is good for me... challenge myself and hopefully I can whip this pitiful entry into shape. I'm beginning to realize I may need help from friends though...

I hope you can push it into shape! What kind of help are you looking for? I can try to offer help. teehee.

I'm not ending this contest for a while, and I might even push the deadline back farther, so don't feel too rushed.

This sounds good Very Happy

We can use more than one picture as a prompt right?

I'll get started as soon as I finish Sam's contest!

Sofi.

Oooh... I'll have to sleep on this one.

Actually, I'm kind of drifting, seeing as I don't have anything to work on at the moment, so I shall put my head to this immediately.

I have ideas. I quite like number fifteen - may use it. Smile

I'm atheist, buuut, in my stories, my characters often hold some amount of belief. So we'll see if it's hard or not.
