Ha! I was just reading some of Curlyq's work here on YWS!
Welcome to Young Writer's Society! You've totally come to the perfect place if you like to write.
What genre of stories do you like to write, or do you do everything?
Jump right in here at YWS. We have a rule that you need to leave two reviews on other people's works before you can post one of your own, so get on that and post some of your stuff! Post in the forums and lurk in the chat. If you ever need help, PM one of the people with green names. They're the moderators and it's their job to help everyone else out.
I'd recommend you head on by the 'Help and Support" and check out the FAQs and Guides. They're a quick read and they'll help out with a lot of new user problems. Take it from someone who didn't read them as a newbie: you want to read them as a newbie.

It would be a great idea to go to the buddy system thread and pick out a buddy! They answer all of your questions you ask, and they critique everything you post for your first month here!
Indeed, writing what you like is fun. As I always say, "When writing a book, write one that you would read."

First Curly told me everthing about this site bu thanks for telling me!!  And I am going to write on my blog and stuff so you can see what I like. But I basicly like writing what Curly does which means everything!!!  and yes I will do two reviews, and then I will write some poems, and then write stories
sorry all those sentances are all smushed together  I'm just a begginer Lol!

oh btw i know most of you are telling me the rules thanks! but curly really did tell me everything i sat there watching her on the computer.
she gave me a little online tour!  and showed me all the rules and so...
ya really i do thank you guys though for that!
except for you rubberduck!! no im tottaly jking! i find it nice you didn't say it, and i find it nice some of you did this letter made me crack up
but i do appreaciate you guys saying hi to me it is very friendly!   OMG!!!! i have never noticed how many smileys there are though that's one thing curly didn't show me
