I said in the beginning that each part had to be at least 300 words.

I'm really glad so many people have responded to this, although I only have two entries. There's about three weeks left now.

Hey there,

I really liked the idea of this contest, so I made a layout for a story and began to write. I'm not even done with part 1, and am already at 5,985 words. Is this okay, or should I start another story that is shorter to enter into the contest? I know you said there was no word limit, but still, I don't know if you mind being overloaded with a massive entry, cause it will be a lot to read.

Take care,

XxxDo

I don't mind. I'm glad you like it so much, and I'd love to read your longer one. The only hing is you might not get it finished in time, although if enough people want me to change the deadline I will. I know it's a hard contest and people might need more time.

In the end, it's up to you. If you want to do something shorter, do something shorter. If you don't, don't.

So far I've only got one completed entry, one person has given me the first two parts and another person has given me the first part.

I understand that this is a difficult contest, so I'm more than willing to give you an extension. I'd really like to know if you're actually planning on entering this because a lot of people have said they would and not given me anything. I want this contest to be sucessful, and for that to happen I need more entries.

Let me know if you're planning on entering or if you'll need an extension and I'll try to sort something out.

I am planning to enter this, but I'm quite busy and school, and I'm going away for a week the same day we finish. Meaning when I get back, I'll have 4 days, which isn't as much as I'd like. I'd appreciate an extension, but I can live without one if necessary Smile

Heya,

Here's part one of Murder & Mayhem:

http://www.youngwriterssociety.com/topic32158.html

Very Happy

working on part two right now, but there's only 10 days left, during which I also have a lot of stuff to do, so an extension would be greatly appreciated !!! Sorry guys, but I won't be able to pull it off for the 30th.

XxxDo: Of course you may have an extension! Just let me know whereabouts you'll need to, so I can't end the contest and it'll fit with everybody else.

HC: I'll be extending the contest anyway so don't worry about it.

Thanks for all the entries so far, I'm really looking forward to reading all of them, and I'm sure picking a winner is going to be really tough.

I'm extending this contest to August 20. I hope everybody can get me their piece by then!

*feels guilty*

I haven't been able to complete my entry yet, since I've been travelling a lot, so I was wondering if it's possible to have another extension?

Really sorry !
