Good Colleges For Writers

Postby lone-flower on Fri Apr 18, 2008 3:56 am

Man can't live on bread alone. The same goes for words.

I want to be a writer. That's why I'm planning to get a degree on Psychology. I want to know other people better. Their stories, their lives. Besides, it doesn't take too many hours of my time.

I'm not telling you it's best to stick to the safe side. How about taking an undergraduate course in whatever profession you like that would surely earn you money, and then take a master's on writing?
They tell me I'm a lazy lump of waste.

I'm just too humble to show them my genius :D

wow, guys. I've been reading these and it's all really great advice. i've still got a year or two before I REALLY begin to think hard about college, but I'm definatley beginning to think about what I want to do. I think that I'll probably major in education and minor in English, or journalism.

best of luck to you all!!
