I got the idea for this from a homework assignment of my niece's a while ago.
The object is to write a story, with the main object being a box. It must have a main character (human(s) yes you may use animals, but make it realistic: no talking animals please, but it may be told from their point of view.) And they must somehow recieve/find, or get this box in some way. It can be any type of box and it must be an important part of the story.
RULES:
1. Please write in story form, not poetry.
2. Must be less than 800 words, give or take a few.
3. The box must be a significant part of the story.
4. Be creative and have fun!
I'm accepting entries from Jan. 29 to April 20th 1st but the date will be extended if needed.
PRIZES:
First: Three good critiques
Second: Two good critiques
Third: One good critique |
