Has anyone else heard about the lady who found a finger in her Wendy's chile?

They've had that as top story on the news here (yes, we're that boring) for several days now...it's become the butt of many a joke, let me tell you.

The common story now, is that the story is ficticious, the woman was looking for money. Wedny's is setting up for a counter suit because of slander. Wendy's has a better case than the woman does.

I am thinking it's a hoax, too, I mean...

A finger!?

Come on, you can do better than that.

But then again, I'd rather eat a finger than the crap at Wendy's. (AND I'm a vegetarian. O_O )

I can imagine Wendy's creating a whole line of human body parts to eat.

Fingers, toes... hair... (and if with the hair noone gets a refund)

Yes, i've heard of it. But I agree with Qi, it is simply a hoax. Something very similer happend like this recently, I don't know the details but I do know that someone found something disgusting in his/her food, and the AP published a article on it, but a while later they found out it was all a trick. This is could easily be the same case.

I heard this woman's also sued a bunch of other fast food places for various things in the past. I think it's a hoax too.

She was arrested. Don't know why.

slander. it is technically illegal, but is rarely an arrestable cause, but if youve got bunches and oodles of corporate lawyers at your back, theres little that isnt.
