Sish had made her way past the recent posts tower and she was now standing just beneath the homepage link.
She decided to try out her wings and jumped off the ground. She landed on the ground with a thud. No luck. She tried again.
'Ahhhhhhhh!'
She raised an eyebrow. Where was that coming...
The next thing she knew, something had fallen on her and squashed her.
'Ow!' said the thing.
'Get off!'
'Oh! Sorry.'
Sish stood up and brushed herself down. 'Who are you?'
The word Kyte formed above his head.

"Ow!" Aedomir landed onto the post with a 'thud'. He looked around and saw the words 'The Immortals' inprinted at his feet.
"For god's sake! I haven't taken LSD for so long yet I'm still in a fantasy world!" He looked around, scanning the letters written below him "This is my novel! Cool! Its already a film! Or I'm dreaming." He punched his head then fell backwards. "Ouch! What the...?" |

It is a dark city scene. The darkness is pierced by streetlamps here and there. Two supernatural beings are creeping along the quiet road - quiet, that is, until a youth drops from the sky and hits the ground with a thud.
Mattster: Unnnghhh...
Ultra: Hey! Are you ok, buddy?
One of the supernatural beings has revealed himself to be an angel. He looks very familiar too...
Mattster: Ultra! What are you doing here? Wait... where is here anyway?
Ultra: You're in New Sydney, naturally. Did you fall off a building?
Mattster: I don't think so... Last thing I knew I was logging onto the computer, and then...Wait a minute! Is this... am I inside the Young Writer's Society?
Ultra's companion comes out of the shadows.
Infra: Leave him alone, Ultra. He's an idiot.
Mattster: Hey, you show some respect, mate.
Infra: Your trenchcoat looks stupid too.
Mattster: ... right. Time to meet your maker. And I do mean that literally.
Mattster and Infra have a short scuffle. Mattster comes to a few hours later.
Mattster: Unghh. This again? What's with this writing, anyway? It looks like I'm in a script.
Mattster's Brain: And YWS has a Scripts section, doesn't it, genius?
Mattster: Oh, don't you start. I gotta get out of here. |

The aliens were finally dead and Grif stood victorious. Grif now moved into the control room and found it empty. A light flickered and Adelaide appeared in a nearby console.
"About time you showed up," she said impatiently.
"What's going on?" Grif asked.
"We've got a hacker in the system. He's messing around with the site."
"Can you shut the site down?"
"Yes, I just need the override code."
"Override code is 123."
"Okay. We're offline."
"Good. The first thing I want is a hyperlink to each page. I don't feel like climbing any more ladders. Next, we need to track down the hacker."
"Don't you want to regroup with the others first?"
"Oh. I guess we can do that." |

Neither Vern nor Choc seemed to be very talkative as we moved slowly over to the Usernames again. I could feel their eyes on me in alternate periods and assumed they were looking around at the multitude of Blog titles, most of which cowered slightly when I looked at them.
“So, apparently, they’re not into loud noises” I grinned, striding forward “who would have thought, aye?”
I got no response, turning around I found out why. Both Choc and Vern were just staring at me blankly, not moving. I raised an eyebrow lightly and stepped closer to them, only to have them step back again.
“Well… this is productive… what’s going?” Perhaps it was the way Choc squeaked, or maybe the way Vern’s eyes travelled up to stare above my head. Either way… I was getting a vibe. Granted, I took my time – It was such an odd situation I couldn’t but laugh a little at myself, and being blatantly odd seemed a wonderful way to do it – but when I looked above me, the vibe was explained. Thick ooze slammed down just behind me and the title growled, thick and low.
I stared up a moment, reading from below: “I am such an idiot” … Why oh why must birds learn to fly? With a little eep I moved forward, out from under the Fed Up title… it followed me.
“Saintification! I know you love me… but what they hay?!?” Looking at Vern and Choc I realized that they had stepped back even further, and I narrowed my eyes slightly, glaring at their shocked faces.
“Gah, go on then. I’ll just deal with the scary, infatuated title all by my lonesome then. “Two sets of eyes widened and they both stepped back once more. Grumbling I twisted around and stalked past the title, ignoring it following me, and the specks of black eating into my wifebeater’s shoulders. Continuing my grumbling I climbed up the steps of Blog Usernames and stared resentfully down at the herds of titles grazing below.
Swatting easily at the Fed Up title circling my head I whistled loudly, calling up a “None” blog to climb up on. With a growled command it zoomed upwards and dumped me on Resources.
Not one to hold I grudge I attempted to holler down to Vern and Choc again, not sure they even heard me as I called my plans to them. Saint’s title watched me slowly as I jumped up and down to scare it off, no realizing that the block beneath me was crumbling fast until I fell straight through. |

Kitty extended an arm towards Via to steady her shaking.
"That's not good," she said. "We have to get your laptop back."
"But how?" Arris wondered, "wont we have to get out of here first?" She cast a worried glance across the hallway.
"Let's keep searching for Griff," Via decided, "he'll know what to do." Kitty nodded, slightly hesitantly and they proceeded along the hallway with Via slipping from side to side as they went no matter how carefully the others tried to support her. Then they heard the faint echo of voices.
"In there," Arris whispered.
"Is it Griff?" Kitty wondered.
"Let's find out." Via wobbled over to the door and threw it open. |

Adna types in password on the YWS homepage, clicks log in, and leans back and closes her eyes, waiting for the home page to appear. She feels something strange, a little breeze or something and frowns; she opens her eyes and looks around.
"Is that...? That says... hey, it's one of Firestarter's poems! Then it must be just another YWS dream. There must be somebody I know around here then. Kitty? Via? Aedomir? Choco? Anybody here?” She frowns. None of her other dreams had looked... or felt... like this. She heard her own voice so clearly. “Well if I'm in a poem, ‘other poetry’ should be right around the corner.” She wanders down, still shouting names, hoping somebody else enters her... dream? soon. |

(Teh Wozzinator)
I got onto YWS... again. I was on a lot. When I wasn't on www.markcrawford.darkbb.com --Aedomir's site.
I blinked. Something was wrong with the site.
Argh, not a big problem, I hoped. Although I guess I won't get behind on storybooks if no one can get on.
Or what if I'm banned?!
No, what could I have done? I haven't even been on in the last few days... which is why I wanted to get on so eagerly.
I sighed. I guess it just wasn't happening. I pulled my hand up to press the "exit" button, but I couldn't find it.
What the heck?
Then I looked around. I was standing on a post... seriously, there were words underneath me.
I gulped as I saw what they said.
It was Snoink saying "***Locked***".
Uh-oh... I wondered if I would be able to get out. I tried. I couldn't.
I'd have to find my way out of here... then out of the site... then out of my computer.
But maybe I could actually meet some people first.
I smiled at the thought. I had plenty of friends that I would like to meet.
I looked around for a way out. |

*Yay!! 'Cause I like this idea.*
(Me! [Teh Wozzinator])
I looked around, trying to find some way out.
I looked all over, up the page and back down, but couldn't find anything.
Then, as I sat down, I saw it.
There was a user named "Green Monkey" who had posted there. Quickly, I ran over and tried peeling back the "key" in the name. It worked. Underneath, there was a little portal. I stepped in, wondering where it would take me.
As I was sucked in and pulled away, I wondered what would happen if I were in a ***Moved*** topic. Would I constantly be pulled back and forth between the two places? I shivered, hoping that I wouldn't have to find out.
Then I wondered if I'd ever get out of YWS, but quit thinking about that immediately.
And then I wondered if my time in YWS would be the same amount of time my body was sitting at the computer in the other world.
If so, I needed to get out fast.
Then I quit thinking because I was getting a headache, and I landed in whatever topic I was now in.
The Immortals 1-3 in Advanced Critiques.
I looked over.
"Hey! Aedomir!" |

I hurried on to Literary, looking around for somebody, anybody. I went into fiction and desperately entered The Immortals.
"Aedomir! Wozzinator! I've been trying to find someone. And trying to figure out what's going on! I love YWS and all, but this! Do you know how to get out?" |

She continued with the others on their way to find Griff.
"How you doing, Via?" She asked.
"Good...ish" She said as she wobbled a little. |
