Username: Amelia

Sibs: none

Mini-animal: Dragon

Sucked in from: the office

Landed in: Storybooks

Specific: (none)

Description: tattoos lace around her left hand that pinch to tell her what's happening on the site. As the site grows, said tattoos are slowly devouring her forearm.

---
---

Amelia wandered into the computer room one day to begin signing in to YWS. "Invalid username or password. Please try again," the site told her politely, presenting her with a box to type in. After three more attempts, the site allowed her through. She yawned. Due to the storm, her internet connection was slow that day.

Her yawn quickly turned into a scream as she was pulled out of her desk chair by a huge burst of wind and thrown forward into the computer screen. When she opened her eyes, she was sitting in the middle of a long hallway, her palms plastered to her cheeks. She could barely see anything. The walls were painted grey and the wood floor was a deep red color.

"Dayng, I should have quit while I was ahead," she said and then ducked to the floor as a spaceship came zooming out one of the doors.

"I've got to get out of here!" she said, pushing herself up and running down the hallway. At the end, given the choice to go left or right, she dashed left and ran closer and closer towards a dimly lit great room. The domed glass ceiling allowed light to shine over everything, but here there seemed to be no exit, only more hallways.

Amelia looked towards the staircase in the middle of the room. "Kitty! Via!" she yelled, running to join her friends.

A ping popped in front of me. Layleun!

It was from FireArris. It was always nice to hear from her.

Hey Arris. I thought. The words appeared in the chat box hovering in front of me, Que pasa?

What? was her response.

What's up? Why are we all here?

It took her another second to respond, I'm not sure. I have Razor and a few other people here, trying to climb a post. That's how I knew you were here.

Ah. Try to make your way back to the chat room. That's where I am. Nothing is really here except my white couch Ash murdered, I glanced at the now red couch and remembered when Ash had killed Laf and made it all red, and the chat well.

Ok. I'll see if everyone agrees. I felt FireArris close her chat box. I looked over the other people here. Maybe there was a way to send a universal ping.

"Chat?"

"Yes?"

That voice was unnerving and calming at the same time, "Can you send out a ping to everyone who's on the site right now?"

"Of course. What is the message?"

"Hey everyone, this is LayleunRisen broadcasting a ping from the chat room. I haven't the faintest idea what's going on right now and I don't think anyone else does, but please. If you can find your way I'm asking everyone to meet in the Chat room. I'm keeping this ping open and I hope everyone can get here."

Suddenly dozens of chatboxes appeared in front of me, one for each member. Each floating screen displayed my message. Apparently I had gotten myself into a mess, now I would have to try to talk to everyone at once. I hoped everyone had gotten one. I was surprised that I was alone in the chat, it was usually very popular here.

Firearris opened her chatbox and sent Lupe a message.

Hey Layleun, me and the others I am with are going to try to find you, it might be easier to meet in the home page. If you don't know how to get to the homepage, just jump into the hole in the ground. Me and the people I am traveling with are right next to the homepage, climbing around, so it would be easier on us, and it might be easier on other people. Also, you might find a robot body and a robot head; well, trust me and don't fix him. Good luck, and let us know if we should find a way over there or if we should wait here on the hompage! She sent out that message to Lupe before clinging to the forums they were climbing again.

Just as I tripped over a partiularily gooey piece of flooring, I noticed a sudden rush of scared titles zooming around me. Climbing back to my feet I noticed my knees appeard to be bleeding.

"... why that's a lovely red, I'm assuming In Love is the cause of this one"

The red bubbbled quietly, and prooceeded to eat through my jeans, searing my skin before I hurredly brushed it all off. Why I waited so long to get the goo off, I don't know.

Searching around me I found the reason for the title stampede. Whizzing and dipping above me was a sharply cornered envelope. At this point my curiosity completely outweighed all thoughts of safety and I began jumping madly to gather its attention. It turned, and somehow spied me with its flapping, eyeless sockets, it rused to me, sharp edges glinting with residual goo.

"Curiosity killed the cat... thank Pete I ain't no cat. Yo."

It caught me full in the belly, making me giggle as it tried to... eat? through my wifebeater. With a quick flip I was holding it to the ground and slid the flap open, letting silvery words flow outward:

"Hey everyone, this is LayleunRisen broadcasting a ping from the chat room. I haven't the faintest idea what's going on right now and I don't think anyone else does, but please. If you can find your way I'm asking everyone to meet in the Chat room. I'm keeping this ping open and I hope everyone can get here."

The letters wavered, but stuck, calmly waiting for my reply.

"The chat room?... Aww man, back up top then... maybe I'll ask for a ride."

I proded the text with my blue pen and scrawled a new message on one of the letters:

"Hey there Lay... I'm in Blog News as we speak, so I might be a bit. xD Hold out and keep me posted as to who's about, yeah? *Hearts* Le Penguin."

Sighing I turned again and looked toward Vern and Choc, who appeared to have their own brand of fun... yummy. So I once again began to trek over to them, ignoring the floating text above my head.

Wondering now if I'd gone insane I walked or more like ambled over to Pingu with Choco. Smiling for first time since this I ignored the blognews titles, "Well-Pingu-how-are-ya-don't-go-into-fantasy-section-you'll-regret-it." I babbled realy fast to her.

They both stared at me. She raised her eyebrows, "Mind repeating all that?"

Via turned as her name was shouted to see a welcoming face of a friend, "Melj!"

She chuckled as Amelia came towards them, "Welcome to the new YWS: Youth Without Sanity...apparently. Did you have a nice fall?"

She turned to kitty15, "What should we do now? We have to get out of here eventually...right? I mean my computer is just sitting in the student center without anyone around it...eventually someone is going to steal it and then it's over haha."

She looked to the "sky" pensively, a finger to her chin, for just a moment. But, it was a short moment, "Okay, I've got nothing."

"Why yes, Via, I did have a nice trip, thanks. But it's a bit dark in here, don't you think?"

kitty15 pulled the sunglasses of Amelia's face and Amelia blinked. "Thanks, I guess YWS was still set on Chimped Out."

"Hey!" Amelia looked down as something pinched her palm. She looked down and saw the swirling ink of the tattoo slide into another swirling pattern. "Wait, someone's posted a message. Maybe that'll help us get out of here!"

Members started to ping back to me, saying where they were and that they were attempting to navigate through the now unfamiliar terrain. I sighed, I might as well see what the Chat had in store for me while I was here. I focused on the wild side of me and shifted into a werewolf. I stood in two paws and looked over my black forepaws again. I looked up at couch. I flicked a claw at it. The couch shuddered and turned white.

"Interesting." I said to myself. "Chat?" I barked.

"Yes?"

I scowled, "Do you say anything else?"

"Yes." it responded. Whoopie, a smart aleck chat room.

"Can you turn the room into a meadow?"

"Certainly. It will cost you 300 points."

The room bubbled and changed shape. My couch disappeared and grew into a fallen log. The white walls turned into a blue sky speckled with clouds and birds. Tall grasses grew up to my waist and a breeze fluttered along the new 'room'.

I looked and found that the well was still sitting over next to the couch/log. I dropped to all fours and loped over to it. It peered down into the depths of it. I saw a blueness that reminded me of the homepage. That must be how I get out. I thought to myself.

I got a ping form Penguin. I wrote on the ping screen with my claw, There's tons of people all over the site. I can't keep track of all of them. I'm trying but it's not quite working. I'm staying here. Hope you're safe, Lupe.

I sat down and watched a butterfly float by on the wind. Hopefully people would arrive soon.

Amelia, Via and Kitty read the message together and then turned to the rest of the group who seemed to be in support of heading to the chat room.

"I've got an idea," Kitty said, "why don't we split up? Amelia, Via and I could head up to the junior mod forum and see if there's maybe some sort of announcement about this, a group of you could try the lounge and the rest can go see Lupe. How's that sound?"

"I think it's a good idea," The figure who had 'Mat' above his head decided.

"We'll check out the lounge," The goat who was apparently Bubbles agreed, "right Mat?"

"Yeah sure."

"I'm with the goat," A man declared. I squinted slightly so I could read the name above his head... Emma? How strange.

"Okay, we'll meet back in the chat room," Via said as she began to climb again. Amelia and I followed, pulling ourselves up towards the bar across the top of the home page.

"Do you think Nate realises we're in here?" Amelia wondered.

"I'm going to head straight towards the chat." Firearris said as she took a different direction, followed by her mini-wolf.

Via continued to climb up with kitty15 and Amelia on her heels.

"If Nate isn't here with us, then how is he going to know we are in here? Wouldn't our names just show up like normal anywhere we go?"

She paused quickly on her way to the top bar, "Wait...whose home page is this? Shouldn't there be a way to the Junior Mod forum on the side of our home page? Or wait...that's My YWS. Darn." She sighed after concluding her conversation with herself and continued heading up to the top bar.

"Look, Via and Kitty, there's the My YWS button!"

Amelia pointed to the top of the ceiling, still so far away. "How are we going to reach it?"

"Grow wings and fly?" Kitty suggested, only half joking. All three of them looked wistfully up at the bar far above them from their position atop the featured member's box.

"Well let's climb up onto the box above us first and then see just how high up the menu bar is," Via suggested.

"Good idea," Amelia agreed, using the words above them to lever herself up. Via followed and then Kitty, all winding their way as far as they could go.

"Alright, now we need some kind of rope, anyone got any ideas?" Kitty asked.

"We could try stringing some of the letters together perhaps?" Amelia wondered.

Firearris thought about what they could do for awhile before getting an idea. She jumped off and started to hover around.
“Me and saint might be able to fly everybody up. What do you guys think?” She said.
