Please, PLEASE help, I don't get it... it's not even that hard a question... only a (b) part, but I honestly don't get it and my brother started spouting something about it being a right angle that I didn't understand...

Sorry I can't put a diagram in...

So.
i) In the triangle xyz, angle xzy = 60 degrees, [yz]=8 cm and tan of angle zxy=4/5

Find the value of sin of angle zxy in surd form.

ii) Hence, calculate [xy], giving your answer in the form square root of a, where a is an element of N.

I really just blanked on this question. I HATE trig.

Okay. I haven't done trig in a couple years but I quite enjoyed it so I remember some. It would be so much easier if I had a scientific calculator. Okay.

I'm pretty sure you need to use the tan of the angle zxy and the measurement for side yz to get xy. you have to like your tan by the side yz or multiply it or something. anyways I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that.

I hope that sort of helps. Smile A bit.

I'm afraid I'd need to see a picture to give you the true answer.

However, I will use my mad text-drawing skills to suppose an answer.
