My school doesn't have the teaching staff to run my french course so I'm having to do a course through an online based college. I have a french essay due on education and had it all written up and corrected by the school's french assistant, but now I come to make the corrections ready for sending it away, and I appear to have lost them...
I was wondering if any nice person out there could possible look over it and correct it for me? I would be incredibly grateful!
I'll post it on here in the hope someone is able to look over it. It's probably about SQA Higher level.

Quel est le rôle fondamental de l'école: développer la personnalité de l'élève ou bien de le préparer à trouver du travail?
Je pense que le rôle de l’école est une combinaison de développer la personnalité de l’élève et bien de le préparer à trouver du travail. Cependant, je crois que la rôle fondamental de l’école est enseigner les élèves assez connaissance pour les réussir leur examens.
Puisque la majorité des élèves vont à l’université après l’école c’est très important pour les avoir des qualifications. La compétition pour les places à l’université devient plus grande et par conséquent le besoin de plus de qualifications est aussi plus grand. Pour les personnes ne vont pas à l’université, c’est important pour les avoir des qualifications aussi. Les employeurs veulent des employés qui ont allant et sont besogneux, et des qualifications sont souvent bien indicatrices de ces qualités.
Bien que je ne pense pas que développer la personnalité de l’élève est le rôle fondamental de l’école, c’est très important. L’école doit être une bien atmosphère pour connaissance, et c’est important augmenter l’assurance de l’élève donc ils sont préparé pour la vie. L’école est aussi une époque importante pour le développement des qualités comme la communication et le travail en équipe.
En outre, je pense que c’est important que l’école soit agréable pour les élèves. S’ils apprécient l’apprentissage c’est plus probable qu’ils continueront apprendre et vont a l’université, et habituellement, les gens qui aller a l’université gagneront plus l’argent et ils auront les emplois meilleurs.
En conclusion, je pense que c’est très important que des écoles ont un bon, agréable atmosphère mais c’est aussi important que des écoles font les élèves travaillent.

I think that the role of school is a combination of developing the personality of the pupil and preparing them for work. However, I believe the fundamental role of school is to teach the pupils enough knowledge for them to pas their exams.
Since the majority of pupils go to university after school it is very important for them to have qualifications. The competition for place at university is becoming greater, and so the need for more qualifications is also greater. For people who don't go to university, it is also important to have qualifications. Employers want workers who have initiative and are hardworking, and qualifications are often good indicators of these qualities.
Although I do not think developing the personality of the pupil is the fundamental role of school, it is very important. School must be a good learning environment, and it is important to increase the confidence of the pupil so they are prepared for life. School is also and important time for the development of qualities like communication and teamwork.
Furthermore, I think that it is important that school is enjoyable for the pupils. If they enjoy learning it is more likely that they will continue learning and go to university, et normally, people who go to university earn more money and will have better jobs.
In conclusion, I think it is very important that schools have a good, enjoyable environment but it is also important that schools make pupils work.
