I noticed that there weren't a lot of new contests here, so I thought I could try to get one started. Basically, the basic premise is that you (not a character, your real self) ruled a world (whether fantasy or a real world). Write a story about what happens with you ruling: you can write about a huge war that breaks out, how the world reacts when you make talking illegal. It can be any genre, but it has to relate to your ruling of the world (while you don't necasarily have to be a character in your story. Here are the rules:
1. It can be any length, as long as it is above 500 words
2. It has to be a story not already posted
3. It can't be rated R
4. It has to be related to your ruling.
5. All genres are equally allowed and judged
First place gets 500 points and 3 crits, 2nd gets 250 points and 2 crits, and 3rd is 100 points and a crit. In addition, the most creative story gets a crit.
Post the link to your story here, as well as any questions you might have.
