Does anybody watch the new Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-fi channel (USA)? If you don't, then you should be watching it. It's the best series I've watched in a while, it has an incredibly high production value, extremely good actors, and an incredible plot. It comes on Fridays at 10pm EST.

Of course, now I am pissed! The season finale was just on and a whole lot of stuff happened... a whole lot of stuff that they left unresolved. Plus, I have to wait two extra months than everyone else to find out what happens since in July (that's when the second season starts) I have no access to TV, much less anything with a cord (I work at a boy scout camp over the summer). So I won't be able to see the new episodes (fortunately my parents have Tivo) until August 20th, which is when I get back from camp.

I don't like it much, but my mother loves it. Of course, she always forgets to watch it... Razz it must suck that you won't be able to watch the season premier this July. I know what it's like.

I really really wanted to watch Battlestar Galactia, but of course no one reminds me to watch the mini series so i watch the last 5 mins of the second one. And now i've missed nearly every episode of the series! AH!

You only missed ten episodes, so it's not so bad. Plus, now they'll be showing nothing but re-runs between now and July so plenty of time to catch up Razz

My grandpa watches it all the time but I don't. I'm more of a history channel chick.

Seeming my favourite genre and time period is medieval fantasy, i'm a real sucker for sci-fi.

There are some parts I really don't like about it (for instance, I loathe the doctor and the cylon lady in his head *shudders*), but I love the story and Apollo is my favorite character. I think it's pretty good overrall

Bumping this thread so I can rant and rave about BSG when I have a wee bit more time.

Otherwise >> Love love love the new show. I've never seen the old one, but I adore Gaius and Six and more or less everyone. And the Pegasus story arc was a thing of beauty.

Cylons own you. Razz

I love every episode I have seen, but I've missed so many that I am clueless as to what is going on. I just gave up. I'm waiting for re-runs.
