So, on the NaNo boards, they have a thread where you can help people with their NaNo titles based on the information you give. So I was hoping we could do the same here, mainly because I'm in need of a title for mine, and I wasn't really given any ideas at the NaNo board.

So...I'll give the short version of what it's about, and then if you really need any more information...hopefully I'll have something plotted out and be able to give more information by the time anyone needs it.

First of all, I'm no longer doing the sequel to Archer's Legend. Another idea began poking at my brain, and I realized that it would be best to not use NaNo to write a sequel. If I'm able to go back to Archer's Legend and finish it after NaNo, I'll be happy, but otherwise I'm not going to kick myself.

That said, the story is about a girl who's possible name is Caevwyn (I might play around with the spelling and change it, though I really like the "wyn" ending) who finds out that she's the next ruler to a place called the Spirit Lands. She finds this out, basically, when a bunch of spirits appearing as animals begin following her around and stuff.

I...don't know much more about it at the moment. o___o Which might not be all that helpful as far as the title goes, but I'll expand on it more if you need me to.

Ah, titles are hard- they're usually best come up with by the author, though, which is why it's so tough to get these threads going. Titles, like actual prose, reflects the author's style.

So if you're having problems, come up with a temporary title- when the perfect, most fabulous one shows up, you can easily switch it up.

I agree with sam. Thou, with my friends help i changed the title to my book. Your problem would be you don't have enough plot for a good title yet. The title was the last thing I did for my book. Play with the plot and think about it. If you still have trouble PM what you have and I'll help, I did it for a few friends of mine who like what I did. Even so let me know what you come up with all the same.

Piepieman22 was right. You don't have quite enough of a plot yet to really have title yet. I've written a few novels myself *brushes shoulders* and I still don't have title for two of them.

Just to give some advice since that was what you asked for...

You could find a common theme that keeps repeating itself and incorporate that into the title. Or you could pull the fantasy/magical world trick and name it like "Caevwyn's Quest/Journey/Trial/etc"

Just to throw some titles out...

Forgotten Lands, Queen of The Spirits, The Fallen Queen, Ghosts of Another Land, The Chosen One, True Purpose, or if all else fails, what I call one of the novels that I haven't named yet: "My Groovy Story."

Stay sharp.
