Okay. As of yesterday this contest was closed. Thank you Via and alleycat for submitting your entries on time.

However as stated in the original post, unless at least four people entered, the contest would be a no-go. So here's the deal. I will critique the entrants submissions and informally critique other pieces if they'd like me to take a look. No formal prizes will be awarded. I'm sorry you two, you probably put a lot of work into your entries. But, such is life.

I hope to see you all around.

(By the way, both of your submissions were superb. Via - your story was playful and well planned. Alleycat - your story was emotional and thoughtful, drawing heavily on a combination between heart and mind.)

I'm glad you thought it was "superb", and, even though it didn't quite work out, thanks for giving me some motivation to write, Kylan.

I think I'll post my entry in the Other Fiction section so other people can critique it too.
