Title: I probably wont know until it's done...that's probably the best time to sum up a novel in a few words.
Genre: Fantasy
Summary of my NaNo: The kingdom of Eirlance is feeling threatened by a growing power and decide to have Seira (working on the name), the best apprentice of the royal family's sorceress, to conduct a covert mission to the south to undermine this power. An accomplished sorcerer who's friends with the royal family (Zoar) is asked to accompany Seira and her best friend, Selené, who is coming along to help and protect her naive friend. They pick up Ayden, a descendant of the kingdom's greatest hero, hoping that saving the kingdom runs in the family (it doesn't hurt that Ayden is already a rising star). However, before they really get going, two more people join the group after Seira saves a girl from terrible illness. The story follows them as they face the hardships of travel, friendship, love, and destiny. I suppose it's a bit of a coming of age story, as well.

I've been working on this story for foreverz! >.< I came up with the idea almost four years ago exactly (I first had the dream that inspired this in October '03.) I originally started it on November 26, 2003 (I am so happy I wrote that down! XD), but writer's block, an overactive imagination, and general crumminess made me stop. Also, my interest waned quite a few times, but I always came back to it.

Right now I think the part I'm most looking foreword to writing is how two characters evolve from hating each other to having a homo-erotic friendship or just a homo-erotic hate. I just wanna see if they turn into a lesbian couple or not.....>.>
I also can't wait to write at least one of the fight scenes.
Actually, I just can't wait to write most of the parts that cause my characters emotional pain/stress/drama. Does that make me sadistic?

Title: To be a Pilot
Genre: Sci-fi, Allegory
Sypnosis:

Well, this tale takes place in a rather wacked Earth different from the one we know about at the moment. The Earth is mostly sea now and it's split into settlements rather than countries. The shift of power is controlled by the size of a settlement and the number of pilots they have. Pilots are the only military allowed under a treaty and are held in the highest regard. There aren't many (the best city only has about 50) and they have to be extrememly talented.

The MC of the story is Samuel Fread, the son of a deceased pilot; the best his town had ever seen. But instead of becoming a pilot himself and following in his father's footsteps, he works as an engineer for his friend Laur Reed, who is a pilot. He's scared to fly himself ever since he saw his father die in an accident and quit doing so. However, the *insert unnamed alliance* is looming as a threat to the town and when all the pilots but Laur are poisoned, Sam has to be one of the replacements rapidly called up to protect the town...

(Failing this, I'll just try my fantasy thing)

Title: Alena

Genre: Not too sure. Fiction, though.

Synopsis: After a traumatic experience when young, Zahra(MC) finds herself with two personalities; herself and one who calls herself Alena. In the 1950s in Asia, she lives in a village where she only has her parents to talk to; sometimes no one. Once, doing things that Alena did against her will and not being able to remember it, people stay away from her. Growing up like this, she learns to live with this other personality or fights for her own life; regretting to ever be with Alena or to trust her. Struggling to be whole, Zahra's about to fall with the things going on around her, until someone moves into the village that might just be the turning point.

Title: I dunno yet
Genre: fantasy
Summary: Two sisters Ellima and Fuschia are orphans. Ellima returns after an afternoon with her friend luthando to find the orphanage being ravaged by flames and royal guards. Her sister and the other children are nowhere to be found. The story tells of the two friends battle against the evil Queen and the finding of a very odd piece of jewellry. Why does the royal family have it in for them and will Ellima ever discover her parents?

I really want to jazz this up a bit. its so cliched. I might add in some cute piano scenes and some odd underworlds but I don't think i'll have enough time.
THREE days to go!

So far, mine doesn't have a title, as the ideas are still a-stirring in my head too much to give me enough time to give it a title. I usually do that toward the end, anyways.

As for genre, my story's definitely fantasy. No question. And it's set in my own world which is, as of now, nameless. I think my world and ours collide in those moments when time seems to stop, whether in good or bad ways. Sometimes they're little moments, sometimes they're bigger. But that's not the point of my story.

My story's about these two older teens who are childhood friends who were born and raised on an island in a small, poor village called Zabora. The boy has always loved the girl, and in my story he finally comes out and tells her. Just when she discovers she feels the same way, she is found to have the Sight and priestly powers and is taken to the Island of the Priests to become a druid priestess. By way of misery and a captain who wishes to sell him into slavery as a prophet, the boy goes to the Island of the Priests in search of a safe haven and a better life. He and the girl rediscover each other and become lovers, as the priests and priestesses may neither marry nor, in the better sense of the word, date. It goes on from there...

Title: Clasir's Engine
Genre: Literary Fiction

Summery: When Ross Brian, a weird little boy finds his Lego creation smashed he thumps his sister, the culprit and runs to the bathroom where he cries like a baby... Another boy, at a similar age appears before him baring the marks of Auschwitz - he is of course Ross's imaginary friend Clasir. One thing puzzles Ross years later when he reflects on this memory. Why did Clasir become a psychopath?

It will be a tale based around sibling jealousy/rivalry concepts. Clasir is there as my little tool to experiment with the theme question: where does sibling jealousy end if one has an unstable mind? Hopefully Ross and Clasir will be able to tell me that through the story, which I have no idea where is going.

Yes, I've written the first chapter. I'm a cheat. However, I wasn't doing nano before I wrote that. Now, I am desperate to finish it.

I'm in the middle of writing a novel and contemplated on whether I should put that on hold and work on something completely different. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Solution: If your novel or story has multiple characters, pick on and write about them instead of the protagonist. For instance, my story is centered around Lisa Rubin; a teenager who is plagued with the power to predict the future and visit the past...She has a sister named Jane Rubin who isnt the main character so I dont talk about her that much. SO I decided for my nanowrimo, i'll write about her story. So, I know more about her character...

Genre: Fantasy
Summary: Jane Rubin is a fairy living in the Land of Ezar. Everything was splendid until the King decided to enforce the Werewolf Relocation Treaty which allowed werewolves to cross the North Border and enter thier lands. What started off as a act towards perserving peace, turned into a viscious attack...Light vs. Dark, Good vs. Evil...but what if you can distinguish between the two? What if you fell in love with a werewolf?

That's all I have for now....what do you guys think??

^.^ OMIT my last description, I changed it. I now have no planned plot other than Vampires ^.^ Two vampire guys falling in love with one girl in the renisanse era, then one of them killing the girl because she loved the other. Then it shifts into modern times and the pair find the girl again.

Update!

I'm not going to write Shards of Alaycia any more for NaNo.

Title (temporary or otherwise): I don't have one right now! O.O
Genre (fantasy, sci-fi, horror, etc): Fantasy
Summary of your NaNo (as much of one as you can give): Basically it's about a girl named Cesarina who starts getting followed by a bunch of spirits who appear to her as animals, and she finds out that she's the next heir to a place called the Spirit Lands. I don't know much more about it right now. I still need to outline.

Title: Ciberspazio Ciarle -- more for its alliteration than idiomatic Italian consistency. ^_^

Genre: Science Fiction / Cyberpunk ...more or less

Plot?: I suppose it has characters, which ought, with luck to lead to some sort of plot, possibly, da?
