Tira watched the scene unfold with great intrest.

She particularly enjoyed the look on Raul and Cyla's face. Precious.

Raul suddenly looked a little funny so she ran past Teo and supported him with her shoulder just as he was about to feint.

Teo watched as she carefully let Raul gently down to the floor and licked his face to wake him up.

Cyla

It didn't take long for Raul to come round and I twitched my ears as he curled into a defensive ball.

"So you're my brother?" Raul began to swish his tail as he thought this over while Teo nodded enthusiastically.

"That's right. Your brother!" Teo agreed, swishing his tail with those same, even, powerful strokes. Raul uncurled and approached the other cat, circling around him so that Teo's fur began to bristle with unease. Raul halted in front of Teo and sniffed his scent deeply before seeming to be content. The other cats in the room relaxed somewhat and I decided it was time to reclaim my territory.

"Why don't we take this reunion into the back, some of the hunters will be returning soon," I decided, already leading the way towards a corner of the barn that was coated with straw and usually reserved for private meetings.

Teo's head was whirling. His brother was here! He felt like jumping for joy, but decided instead on following Cyla into the back.

Path, forgotten in the commotion, trailed them silently.

Tira brushed up beside Teo and smiled at him showing that she was pleased for him.

Cyla noticed and gave Tira a warning glance. Tira stared back defiantly, if she wanted to interact with the Sky's then she would.

They stopped behind a large pile of haybales and Cyla leapt up onto one. She watched as the others formed a semi-circle, Teo then Tira, Path, and finally Raul. This meant that Raul and Teo were facing each other and Tira gave Teo a supportive nudge while catching his eye.

"Ok, I think we all need to have a very serious discussion about this... matter." began Cyla.

"Shouldn't a superior member of the Sky's be here too?" asked Tira.

"Probably, but that doesn't matter."

Teo looked offended and Tira bristled with embarrassment that her superior could be so self-important.

"I mean, what is more important is deciding what e are going to do about this." Cyla smiled, "I am sure we can come to a compromise considering the... circumstances."

Feather
A loner
Description: a brown tabby, with unusually patterned stripes. Has bright green eyes with flecks of amber.

Feather curiously sniffed the breeze. Storm coming, she decided. Before it broke, she meant to gather herbs.

A ruslting in the grass announced the arrival of another cat.

"Hello there," Feather said evenly.

Lyn chuckled. "Does anything take you by surprise?"

"Not much," she replied with a smile. "So, how's the prey running in Sky?"

"As usual," Lyn replied. "How else should it run?"

Feather chuckled. "Well, that sounds like good sense to me." She whisked her tail, indicating the coming storm. "I think you should tell the others about that. It'll be a nasty one."

The next day found Raul facing the senior captain, Thorn.

"I knew about this. We decided, to save argument, that one of you would go to each claw. Teo seemed the best choice for Sky, so he has lived there."

Raul nervously twitched his tail. "Why wasn't I told before now? Is it some great secret that I have kin in Sky?"

"No," said Thorn, "we did want to tell you. Teo just beat us to it."

Cyla

I did not sleep that night. Instead I decided to take on the duty of night guard. It wasn't my turn and completely against regulations but who is willing to argue with the captain? Certainly not the young mother who I replaced. I stalked around the barn, crouching low, out of sight and watching for movement. Then I leapt onto the roof, landing lightly and silently and looking out across the surrounding area. Still no movement.

I repeated the process many times that night, stalking, searching, watching and then when the morning came and the other cats began to wake, I instructed the hunters to go out as usual, sent the young mothers and carers to the rafters of the barn to look after the young and gave three or four hard workers the day off. Including Raul. Afterall, I did not need his family troubles affecting his work.

Alisa

All that day, she couldn't manage to get Raul alone. Alisa felt like she would burst with ipatience.

She gave up and let her paws take her back to Sky. There everything was going as usual. The captains were just telling the warriors about something.

Only two of them... I wonder why they never replace the older ones. Alisa knew she was worrying over nothing. But it was so frustrating, not being allowed to help her own Claw.

"What has you in such a state, Alisa?"

She looked over her shoulder at Old Barley. "I wish I could do something."

He let out a rusty purr. "As do we all. But you know it's not to be."

Out of habit, Alisa found that she was looking for her apprentice, Dawn. But the healer these days was a gray cat named Mist. She sighed.

Tira hadn't seen anyone since the meeting. She had left on her own after saying goodbye to Teo and then had gone searching for mice to clear her head.

She had been following the trail of a rat but then something else caught her attention. She turned her nose towards the smell and instantly recognised it.

She pushed slowly through the bushes and found Teo staring down a mose hole.

'What are you doing?' she asked, making him jump.

'Tira!' He looked pleased to see her but she kept her distance.

'What are you doing?'

'I haven't caught a thing since yesterdays meeting. I just can't focus.'

She tilted her head to one side. It was unusual for Teo to wander away from both territories and she was worried about him.

'Here. Let me help.'

Teo

"Er, thanks," he muttered.

Tira nodded. "No problem. So it looks like you and your brother are getting on well."

He nodded absently.

While they were talking, the mouse had smell them and darted out a back way. With a swish of her tail, Tira gave chase.

Listen folks, I'd like a volunteer to play Raul. I want to keep with Teo and Alisa.

[Tage]

Tage groomed her paw absently, thinking about the news she had received recently. Raul had a brother in Sky Claw. It was strange to think about, though if you went back far enough probably everyone had a Sky relative. She didn't know Raul personally, besides meeting up with him every once in a while, but he was well known and respected.

Well if nothing else, it was something to think about. She wondered how the Claw would respond, she knew some of the cats had a full-blown prejudice against Sky Claw.

She continued grooming methodically, thinking about what might lay ahead.

(sorry thats all i could come up with)

Cyla

At first I spent the morning in the rafters of the barn with the mothers and their young, counting the kittens and mourning the one who had fallen ill in the night and passed on. There would be a funeral to arrange.

Then I grew restless. In my younger days, I had been a hunter and then a protector and a part of me longs to prowl the ground again. Besides, there were guards enough and my duty was to my whole claw which included seeing that they were fed.

Usually I instructed the hunters to work in pairs but this morning, quite a few had set out alone. I could smell one - one of the younger cats. Probably about my age.

"Tage, how's the hunting?" The cat jumped, mid-groom, and looked at me with wide, green eyes.

"Going well," she said, inclining her head a touch, "three mice so far." I noted the pile and smiled warmly.

"Good work. Care to hunt with a partner?"
