|

I've been watching a lot of space specials lately on the Discovery channel, and they're fascinating but frustrating at the same time. Fascinating because of the potential of what humanity can achieve, but frustrating because of the short sightedness of government. Fortunately, the private market is once again stepping in where the government fails, and is making a lot of strides into spaceflight.
So lets say that by 2050, it was possible for you to travel to any planet in the inner solar system (with the appropriate travel times of course). Which one would it be? |

| The moon, just because it seems so left-out anymore. No one cares about it, from a scientific standpoint - they're all looking at Mars. Someone's got to care about our poor little moon full of silver and shadows. ^_^ |

| The moon is NOT a planet... it's a moon... but it'd be cool to see earth from that distance. I'm not that into rocks though... i think life is more interesting. |

Way to go Captain Obvious. But phrasing the question as such would be terribly verbose. |

My own little planet... in the furthest reaches of space... it's very warm and sunny with a lot of ocean.
Or Pat Buchanan. Either one. |

Hee hee, semantics. The sun is also a planet.
I'd go to: Planet Pat, of course. |

| I would go to Mars because its terrain and atmosphere is the most hospitable. But the planet I'd really want to visit is Saturn because it's my favorite planet. |
