OK, I'll agree that it is obscure. A clue is in order. It's on the first page of a book and applies to some form of machinery.
"This is tedious, really tedious! I thought you said we were going to have some fun!" - I did ask for suggestions. It's not easy to think of brilliant, complex, interesting quotes when you only read one book every one or two weeks. I do believe that if others gave some it would be more intersting.
