Thanos could hear his alias being muttered. "Lestat" It was better than revealinh his true self. The wolf would have to wait. Thanos sensed no cruel intentions to the young boy and the wolf appeared to be tamed for the moment.
Thanos lept from the building top and took flight. Gliding through the air at silent speed. They would meet in the usual place. the far underside of the bridge in the park.
The young girl and the man who saved her were standing there.
"Long time no see, "Lestat," said Jackson.
"So, you've come about the wolf huh?" said Thanos AKA "Lestat"
"How did he?" Minerva started to mutter but Jack hushed her.
"There might be a way to kill him," said Thanos, "Follow me." He revealed a hidden chamber below the bridge and went down into it, followed closely by Minerva and Jackson. |

| Adam I believe you're confused, Minerva and "Lestat" never met, but thank you for putting him in! But could you fix that before i post? it would help a lot in understanding it. Just change Minerva to Jack |

Minerva followed "Lestat" looking nerviously at the walls and floor. She kept expecting something to jump out and attack her. She felt Jack's presence only a second behind her. He seemed as nervous as she was. He didn't seem to be the kind of person to be nervous. But then again they were following somebody who used a vampire alias.
"Where are we going?" Minerva asked out loud.
"You don't need to know now," Thanos said in reply.
Minerva turned around sharply to shoot a paniced look at Jack who simply shrugged his shoulders. He put his right arm over her shoulder and just rested it there.
Thanos rounded a corner a few feet a head of them and when they did he wasn't there. They looked around for a hidden corner or a ladder but there was nothing but the brick wall.
They looked up and saw a small hole with a screen covering it.
"He couldn't have gone through that, could he?" Minerva asked paniced.
"I don't think so," he tried to look up through the screen. "Here have a look." Very easily Jakson lifted Minerva up so she could see through.
"Holy hell!" Jakson let Minerva down as easily as he could.
"What was it?" Jakson's voice was quick.
"Talk later, right now run!" Minerva turned back to the passage way, but only found a brick wall. There was no way out. A few drops of water trickled down through the screen.
"What was th-" Jakson was cut off by the slowly growing roar of the water running over top of them. Jakson looked up and grabbed onto Minerva holding her close to him. The water broke the screen as it poured on top of them.
The rapid flow of the water threw them against the wall. Minerva's head would've hit the wall if it weren't for Jakson's arm. The water whirled around them for a moment longer, and stilled. They swam to the top hoping to be able to breathe.

Who the hell locks someone out of their own house?, Robert thought. He had just come home from his very long and tiring day to see that Viv had tried to keep him out of his own apartment. It didn't take him long to burst in though.
She didn't even flinch when he came in. She just looked at him when he asked her what she was doing. "Eating." She acted like he was a complete moron. He made a show of it to throw her food across the room and then tackled her to the floor.
He growled, deep and loudly. He could smell the fear on her and was dying to have it's taste in his mouth but ignored the impulse. He already fed. He didn't need any more energy.
"Don't you EVER do that again!" He shouted at her, knowing full well that she would. He went to bite her but flinched away quickly making her yelp. He smiled the lifted himself off her.
"Come on," he said, "We've got some news to watch."
She sighed and asked, "Who have you killed now? A little boy again? A priest? A runaway?"
"Oh, shut up will you? Anyways, I think you'll like those I've killed."
"More than one this time?"
"Yes, two. They deserved it too."
He went over and flipped on the TV. The news station came to life with late breaking news.
"We have just found a grisly murder site downtown where earlier there was an accident involving a small boy. In fact, the victims are the little boy's parents. They were found in their apartment on the third-story with their throats torn from their bodies. Paw prints were seen leading from the bodies to the window, where there was a fire-escape. Police are still very confused about how such a large dog managed to climb three stories on a fire-escape. We have been told to give this warning. Lock all you're doors and windows tonight and make sure to have you're phone near you at all times. Police were unable to give anymore answers....In other news-"
Robert sat there on the couch laughing his head off while Viv shook her head in disappointment.

"Do you enjoy playing God?" Viv asked angrily, jumping off the couch as the news went to commercial. She knew better than to bother Robert during the news, as long as she valued her life.
"Playing? Who's playing?" he asked cruelly.
"You asshole! That was the boys parents! He's probably out there, scared and alone!"
"No, they were his nightmare. They were the assholes who beat the shit out of him all the time. They deserved what they got!" Robert was mad, but Viv held her own.
"If they deserved it, it would've came to them in due time."
"So I sped up the process."
"So you ruined a life. Why do you have me locked in here anyways?" she knew why, but she was ranting, and that was a standard ranting quesiton.
"You know why."

It had been a dark night. She was much like the little boy, battered and bruised curteosy of her father, who drank constantly, and her mother, who had temper issues. She was 15; not very strong, but extremely pretty. First Lucien had found her, walking alone on the deserted boardwalk. He was gorgeous, and Viv found herself being drawn to him. He led her to a deserted back room, and began kissing her.
She was scared, and frantically started screaming. She felt 2 sharp pricks in her neck and became lightheaded. Then somehting else, a huge dog? crashed into the room and chased Lucien away. The dog reformed suddenly, becoming human. "I'm Robert," he said. He was younger then, almost handsome, and she was once again lonely and scared. He took her back to his house.

"That's right, I saved you."
"Barely. I'm still half-vampire," Viv replied bitterly.
"Yes, and I loathe every molecule of that half, but I love the rest of you and will never let you leave." Vivian angrily stalked back to their room, which she did not gladly share, and locked the door behind her defiantly. Robert was still furious, but she couldn't care less. |

Jakson and Minerva tugged on the screen trying to get it to come off. It wouldn't budge. Minerva couldn't take it much longer, she'd have to breathe soon.
Jakson silently begged for Minerva to hold on for a little while longer. Through the water she didn't look like she was going to make it. She wasn't. Every moment was a constant battle to keep her lungs from taking in air.
Finally it was too much and just as Thanos pulled the screen off and pulled them out she passed out.

"Sorry about that," said Thanos, "I had to let the water in to get you up to the screen."
Jack looked over Minerva. She was still breathing but unconcious, "That was a pretty stupid thing to do!"
"Please, dont bother." Thanos gently lifted Minerva with his mind, "Just follw me."
they went a little further into the tunnel to a small wooden door. Thanos opened it to a small room lit by a lantern. A bookshelf and desk squezzed against a side and a single sized bed on the floor.
Minerva floated to the bed and was laid down.
"I'd offer you a set but as you see there isn't one," said Thanos. He pulled two old tomes from the shelf.
"What's this?" asked Jack.
"A book." Jack glared at him. "It's an old Tome on Creatures. This one is a histoical referance to the War between the Vampires and Werewolves. Hopefull there will be some insight into how to stop The Wolf."
Thanos and Jack started to skim the thick musty tomes. |

Minerva filled her lungs with air again and again. The musty smell of the room made her cough. She coughed breifly as she woke up. A small wave of panic swept over her as she looked around. She remembered "Lestat" pulling her out of the water, but nothing else.
