Sounds like a story about a young kid with a troubled past, looking forward to a bleak future. I would read the blurb. At the very least, I'd pick it up.

Teenagers on a voyage of maturity and discovery. Drugs or something similar would likely be involved. Depending on the blurb, I might pick it up.

Sounds like a dark, brooding story, with possible abuse, bullying and/or other painfull experiances. I probably wouldn't pick it up unless I was in a brooding type of mood.

Historical romance, perhaps set during one of the World Wars. A woman looses her fiancee to the fighting, only something turns up -- either he didn't die, or she realised she didn't really love him at all and is much the happier by his death. I wouldn't read it, sorry.

Sounds to me like some sort of summer story, maybe about a young girl or boy growing up. Perhaps some light romance involved. Sort of a Tom Sawyer thing. I might read it if I had nothing else.

It sounds like a collection of novels or stories that go together, and are almost childlike or fantasy, or melodramatic. It's probably not something I would pick up in a store. But a lot of people go for that kind of think, you know, like...Harry Potter and the... (fill in the blank).

Okay, So Maybe I'm a Pirate

Um...something about a misunderstood teenager, possibly a rebel, who tries to stand out in every way she can. Or possibly about real pirates, me hearty. Wink

Sarcastic, first person story, possibly about a young man who's not quite with it who discovers this horrific conspiracy at his work. I'd definitely pick up and read the blurb.

Scavenger
