Solvalery: I can NOT believe this! I spent half an hour in a Math problem! *rolls eyes* and all because of a stoopid negative I was missing! "At a newspaper the cost to place an ad for one week are: $ 12.75 for 3 lines, $17.25 for 5 lines and $28.50 for 10 lines. Write an equation in slope intercept form that represents this linear function! Then find the cost of an ad that is 21 lines long!" >_> So NOT funny!
MissMystery: Oh! I know the answer! it's: y = 2.25(21) plus 6! So the cost of an ad that is 21 lines long is $53.25, right?
