I need to know a few things about the place.

First of all, I need the name of a middle-class residential area (or maybe an apartment building) as close to the inner city as possible.

Second, how busy are the inner city streets at night?

Third, what areas would be knows as the shady areas of the city?

I may ask more questions in the days to come, but those are all I need right now.

I've been there once or twice, but I really don't know very much about the place...

I'll ask my friend. She has grandparents there.

Good luck with it anyway! I'm sure you'll be able to find out some good stuff! Razz

I live in Greater London in the borough of Southwark (a lot of history about this place and its pronounced SUTH-ark ((depending on which part of London you're from))) and it is sometimes called The Borough. It's one of the poorer and corrupted part of the city, and there are a lot of kids out at night and vandalism is a major problem.

Theres more about Southwark and its history/latest going ons here

There is a road called Quantock Mews and I'm sure a group of middle-class people live there.

Brixton in Lambeth and Camden are other areas with drug related crime.

LOL! Park Lane is the dark blue, the penultimate street to Mayfair.
