Chocolate Twirls and Licorice Gobs,

Packets of candy and big toffee globs,

OOOH such wonderful things!

I bow down to candy, my grateful king.

These are the things I know will not rot!

I’ll put them into my gigantic pot,

And I’ll invite everyone to my feast,

The number of people will never cease!

At my feast there’ll be yummies galore,

And everyone would be yelling “More! More!'

I’ll pass out candy,

And chocolates too,

Licorice!

Toffee!

Packets of Goo!

Scrummies In Tummies!

Yummies And Gummies!

Madness, to you it may seem,

But that’s the way of a Candy Man’s Dream!

Madness? Not at all. Sounds like heven to me....if only we could solve that whole cavity issue...

Yeah, I like chocolate.

Do you have chocolate in your candy land? Some people would say that is sacrilege!

I usually don't care for poetry this light hearted, for I'm more into the dark, broody stuff; I'm better at analyzing them...

But this made me smile. I like it.

Hehe... It was cute, yet a bit freaky. It kind of reminds me of a cult...
