What I'm thinking of doing here soon is making all usergroup forums viewable to anyone (unless the group moderator wants it otherwise). Then if someone wants to join a usergroup, all they have to do is post in the appropiate forum and then they are automatically added. Of course, group mods will still have control over who is in the group by being able to delete people from it, but I think doing this would increase activity in the usergroups section.

I'm definitely going to be doing this for Pawprints, but should it be applied for others as well?

Sure that is such a good idea because then its a way of advertising and people that are thinking about joining will get an idea of what each group discusses

I suppose the Usergroup leaders' opinions matter more than ours, but that sounds good to me.
