I watched this yesterday and loved it...plus the preview freaked me out and everyone in the cinema started muttering and stuff.."wow thats sooo cool!"..
The original one was so boring..I watched it twice and still thought it was boring... |

| Loved this movie.. It wasn't all that scary if you covered your ears at parts like me! (Lol) - Notice that scary movies are never scary when you can't hear the eerie music. This is a def. go-see-at-the-theater type movie. Spielburg's the shiz. |

I went and saw it with Emma and yes, it is a good film. Emma was soo scared It's ok though cause it was tense to watch. Especially when he little eye thing came down the hole looking for them. |

| Yeah, that was a good bit. I saw it the other week with a friend who ended up wishing we had gone to see madagasger instead, she's not up to watching blood everywhere. But i really enjoyed it. That little girl was really good though, for 11 i think she did really well to act like that. |

| I saw War of the Worlds with my four guy friends, who, apparently had very high expectations of the film. They were dissappointed in it because of the huge plotholes (How the HECK did Ronnie survive that explosion--and how did he get home afterwards?) and the "corny" ending. Dakota Fanning was stellar though. |

I was NOT scared!! Ok... so I was a little bit...
I HATE loud noises and really tense bits!! xD
Great movie though, a must watch. And the ending didn't suck like the last one did. |

| Did anyone notice that there wasn't 5 minutes Tom Cruise WASNT on the screen? not through the entire movie. |

| That has more to do with how it was written than who was staring in it. The movie is about the character he plays. |

| right, but the character he plays isn't in the original book. nor is it in the movie, or any mini series. the only thing about that movie that even remotely resembled the original was the fact that there were aliens, and that they were winning. everything else is just bull. there are so many things wrong with that movie its not even funny. |

| And the book was written over one hundred years ago. Science fiction doesn't really do well with retellings in that way. |

| I gotta find a copy of that book. After seeing the movie, I really want to read it. It's probably not all that boring. More likely you're just not used to the way people wrote back then. |
