Winter.
It conjures up images of snowy blankets laid out on the ground and sparkling sheets of frost painted across your window panes. But it also tugs on your heartstrings with the ideas of mistletoe kisses and lying by the fire with your sweetheart.
Or maybe you see winter as a time for blizzards and windstorms with the snow so high you’re trapped within the walls of your home and you can’t even see through the ice that’s formed on your windows. But even more so, maybe it’s a time for fleeting loves and just trying to hold onto your someone special. It can be a time of broken hearts.
It doesn’t matter if you find love or pain in the winter. It’s still romance and I want to read about it.
