Torrents filled with demon vices,
Passion: posion that entices.
Among humanity's vocations
I must admit that mine is Satan's.
.
Why do addicts craft serene
Words as such is ever seen?
Those who want for healing rain
In meter, eases part their pain.
.
To laymen of consistent mind,
Without imagery so well refined,
Indulgence may still be as mild
As the wantings of a child.
.
But for such as Hemingway
Who in desire, lost the way.
The slope they tread t'is more severe.
Filled with demons, filled with fear
.
But there is hope for the masters
The tortured band of classless crafters.
For poets grand and those unknown,
The antidote of fear is home.
At the touch of love eveyone becomes a poet

I gotta say, this is probably one of the best poems I have ever read on YWS. Yous style is amazing, your meter flawless, and your imagery was intriguing. I loved how the emotions of the poem seemed to be conflicting-- dark to light, deep to mellow. Please post more of your work!!!!
Honey, you should see me in a crown.
