Oh my! Good gracious! Lol I forgot that after Arya had to change her post that Ana didn't get saved!!! I shall be the hero(es) again!! Lol daring rescues are fun ^^
Nightfall-
This time, that stupid bird had gone and done it. Friend or not, she had gotten on my last nerve. I advanced towards her, prepared to morph into the first thing I could think of, when Daybreak grabbed my tail and pulled me away.
"Sorry to have upset you," Daybreak told her. She looked up at my sister with eyes that were mixed with both hate and sadness. "We just wanted to save him. We'll leave you two now."
I growled at her before leaving with Daybreak. She watched us as we walked away then turned back to her friend. As we left the forest, we were greeted with a horrid sight. The house was burning and Peter was being held captive by the dimwitted guards. Daybreak and I looked at each other, then raced towards it. The guards were on their way back to wherever, so the coast was clear.
"Daybreak," I said quickly. She looked at me frantically. "Search the house, make sure no one was left behind. I'll follow them," I said, nodding towards the guards. "If no one is there, come after us as well." She nodded, and we both raced off. "Wait!" I called just before she went into the house. She looked back. "You'll be okay. You're strong," I told her.
She nodded. "I don't need to tell you that you are," she said with a half hearted smile.
We left each other with these words and a smile. We both morphed before going our separate ways. I changed into a tiger and chased the line of guards. Idiots. The left Peter at the back of the line, with only two guards to watch him; one in front and one in back. I only killed the one in the back. Peter turned around limply. His face lit up as much as it could.
I tried to smile. "I'll get you out of here, one way or another," I told him reassuringly.
He nodded. "Where's Daybreak?" He whispered.
"She went to search the house. Then she'll come join us."
He looked relieved. "I was afraid that Ana was trapped in there." I, too, sighed. Good thing I told her to search the house.
I decided that I would let them take us back to the castle (or wherever) before I killed anyone else. Manslaughter wasn't one of my favorite ways to kill, and I didn't want to kill more innocent lives before we found out what was going to happen to their hostage.

Daybreak-
I ran through the smoke filled house. I had taken a big breath before going inside.
"Is anyone here?" I asked desperately. I heard faint coughing through the flames. I listened for a minute before it came to me. "Ana!" I cried and raced towards her. "Don't worry," I told her, though she seemed to be unconscious and couldn't hear me. "I'll save you," I said with a smile.
I morphed into a hybrid once more and loaded all of her saved treasures into one of the cloaks, making sure to tie it tight. I then loaded Ana onto my back and changed to a wolf. I didn't have much strength built up, but my unusual size as a wolf made up for that. I grabbed the cloak in my mouth and looked for an escape route. The only thing open was the stairs. I knew it wasn't a very good idea, but I went up them anyway. I ran to Ana's room and closed the door. A useless effort, but it would buy us a little more time.
I placed Ana on her bed and opened the window. There was a pile of hay below onto which I dropped her rescued items. They landed softly. I then searched for any blankets I could find. I found barely enough and tied them securely together. I tied the end of the blanket rope to her bedpost, then hoisted her onto my shoulder. I climbed down slowly, making sure to keep us both balanced.
I dropped Ana onto the hay with her belongings and then jumped off myself. I put her on my back again and morphed into a wolf, grabbing the makeshift bag. I spotted a bucket nearby that I knew would come in handy at some point. So I dropped the items into the bucket and grabbed that instead. Then I ran. I didn't know where I was going, but I ran. I ran until my legs felt like they were going to give out.
So I slowed my pace and looked around a bit. The sound of flowing water welcomed my ears. I found a small clearing where I laid Ana against a moss covered tree. I removed the items from the bucket and, bucket in teeth, searched for the river. It was very close by, and I filled the bucket and hurried back to my friend. I placed it next to her and morphed back. I gently began splashing water on her face, and she stirred softly. I watched her in anticipation.

I was standing there in the park, wondering why the ball got bigger as it got closer. Then it hit me.

They say "Guns don't kill people. People kill people."
Well, I think guns help. If you just stand there and yell BANG I don't think you're going to kill too many people...
