Wow. Much better than I could do. Wink Very Happy \

The texture of the sea monster's body was very good, but I think you could add a little more depth to his fin. The water dripping off his chin is amazing!!!

The clouds are very nice.

The sea is a little strange for me. It looks like half-dried glue that is sticking to the dragon. Maybe you could add a few more splash drops or something.

The ship was well-proportioned. (Very big monster.) Wink

the waves were also a little lacking in depth for me. they didn't shimmer enough, or something.

All in all, very impressive drawing!!

Thanks for fixing your size issue!!

I think the dragon itself is great. The scales, the eyes! But I have an issue with the sea, which I really don't think you put much effort into. The messiness of the lines is fine - it gives it that stormy look you're going for, but the fact that the sea dispenses mid-picture is annoying. You got lazy, eh?

Nice to see it in full though! Was infuriating, trying to scroll for bits and pieces.

7/10 by your standards!

Thank ye, all.
An old film Jason and the Argonauts (1963) came to mind, relating to the seven-headed [i think] beast of the film, otherwise known as the fearsome Hydro.
This is not multiple-headed, I know, but I based it on the Hydro slender, scaled shape, its fearsome jaws and the peril it put people in. (I didn't watch all of it, just was interested in the Hydro despite the bad picture quality [not my TV, the film in general] and the frankly lame special effects...)

As for the water/waves rising up the creature's body....I tried. Water [especially the sea and waves] can be hard to draw, you know. I was putting in 100% effort though - I went for the 'sketchy' look, of the sea, with different sea colours, and hoped it might have a good effect.

When drawing something that it normally ever-moving...it's hard to capture it at a good moment, so it looks good when you draw it down. I'm sure all us artists here understand. Laughing
I hoped living close to the coast might have had an impact on me, but... Rolling Eyes

I love the face and the texture, the pencils work really well. I second what other people have said about the sea looking like it's sticking to him a bit, and I think the, erm...what are they called? The spiky bits on his back, lol, need to be a bit darker, just a bit more colour. I like the expression on his face as well, good job!

You should really watch the whole movie sometime, especially if you know the myth. I laughed a lot. Not because it was funny, but because of the cornyness of it. Laughing

Yeah, seas can be hard to draw, but then again, every thing is hard to draw for me. Wink

The Dragon is very nice! The expression scales are amazing! I know it must really have taken you yonks!

And I like how you added the boat too. Poor boat. But I must agree, the water doesn't look too good. Perhaps you spent so much time on the Dragon and rushed when drawing the sea?

But then again, what do I know? I can't draw for my life! Very Happy

WOW EXCELLENT (sorry for the caps)

The scales are.... are well are too good to be true. But the yes goes straight to the dragon and not the whole picture which is bad. You need to add more descriptions to the background, water and ship/boat. Then the picture would be balanced.
