Poetry in Motion for 4/12 – 5/20

[i]

The wishful glimmering ladybug impression:

She flies oblivious with no destination

Upon a new winter.

[ii]

Silky darkness heavywithmemories

A crescent planetstar desire of Tomorrow

[iii]

Kindergarten cakes have churchladies fragrance

When carnations misshapen house Mary

[iv]

Demons borne in crippled innocence

Fate the delicate angel’s tears captured in dreams

[v]

She dips liquid fingerreeds

In lime-greenandsilver waves

Bubbledarts grotesquely

Chortle the water’s

Pink childsummer

[vi]

Scattered thoughts

Of soft dusky kisses

Dying somewhere in Eden

[vii]

the red is bow tie around her neck

the blue is vacant of all expression

art is just another exercise in time management

[viii]

did you ever see or hear the man who

played musical chairs with himself?

[ix]

you only need a savoir

if you think you’ve done wrong.

you only need a savoir

if you think you need saving.

[x]

depression is the common cold

that drills a four inch hole in my head

[xi]

math finds the cosmos

in the celestial passages of seven planets

[xii]

if math is just a jumble of theories

and the ones that work are kept

is the same true for humans?

[xiii]

hot box fire dragons

engulf petty reminders

of fading culture

[xiv]

if i ever wondered about

starshapes and kaleidoscopes

i never let on

afraid you’d find the

hypocrisy in it

[xv]

pitter patter of little feet

running running down the hall

art deco

seems to spread their wings

father apart

and the calculated

risk of loosing

just one feather

is tantamount to icarus flight into the

sun

[xvi]

crinkled lullabies

the crackled antennae of a lovefooled moth

battered from too many beatings

against the white light

and the white heat

of an obsession

[xvii]

i thought i was this little girl laughing

or maybe it was just a memory

i thought i was this little boy

galavanting through dreams

a babyblue bedsheet cape

strapped to his shoulders

or maybe it was just a moment

in time for wishing

[xviii]

james bond

could have been a

gemini priestess if

the powers at be

had given him more

heart than charm

I loved almost all of those CL! However there was one that caught my attention more than the rest.

I loved that one so much i just had to make it msn display name (hope you don't mind) Razz No idea why that one though. Anyway, great short pieces there. I'm a huge fan of short things like that when they are done well, as you demonstrated.

Great work.

That was really cool. Some of them were kind of random, but I like all of them.
