| Did you know that a semi-colan doesn't count as an end of sentence puntuation, and that was a sentence continuation? Did you know that I'm not the first person to use a semi-colan and no one bothered them? |

What makes you think you're the only one anyone has bothered about it?
(Seriously, I have pointed it out to others, and what you did was, in my opinion, a sentence disguised as a question, which is how I worded the rules on the first page) |

Okay, why don't you go back to middle school English class?
(Seriously, we just went over this. A semi-colan divides a sentence in two parts, with the second part explaining what you said in the first. It does not end a sentence). |
