OMG! I started writing a story like this before I even saw this contest. Shocked

It's titled "Shifters - The Pool of Time: Guardian" and is about a girl who isn't firmly attached to time like most people and randomly... shifts.

Um, I think I just disqualified myself. I hit 3000 and I haven't even resolved the main conflict yet... looking at 4000-5000 words at this point. Oh well - it's a good exercise anyway. Hope you still get enough entries!
