A Spin onfairy tales

To all of my vampire friends out there, this is your time to shine.
Write me a classic fairytale such as Cinderella, Snow White, etc. but incorporate vampires.

No rated R entries will be excepted
Be Original, you can change names and title if you want
Make sure characters are recognizable
Have Fun!!!

Form of writing:

I would either take a story of no more than 1, 500 words( If you exceed that five hundred words or so I won't bite you...but I will send you a rainbow LOL) or a narrative poem longer than forty lines but no more than ninety.

Prizes

First Place: Three Critiques and 100 points and a star
Second Place: Two Critiques and fifty points
Third Place: One critique

Huh?

Well, i might try. I don't know a lot about vampires, guess I'll have to consult my brother.

So let me get this straight: We can write the original story of Cinderalla, Snow White, et cetera, but within the original story we must incorporate vampires? Like, "Cinderellas godmother is only helping her.. because she wants to suck her blood." Or something of that nature?

Loveable you are right on the nose with this one, remember anybody can be a vampire.

Sohini its a narrative poem with 40-90 lines, its this way because you're writing a story and well you'll see

Good luck to everyone,
Angel

I'll try although I'm really new here. It's worth a shot, though I don't believe it'll catch many eyes, though emm does it have to be original like something that follows the road of Snow White or is it acceptable to have a whole new story?

Candy Top-

Welcome to YWS,
Yes it has to be original, be creative, change the plot but make sure it is able to be recognized as one of the traditional fairy tales.

Just in time, here is my entry.

http://www.youngwriterssociety.com/topic31924.html

It is based on the fairytale The Castle East of the Sun, West of the Moon. It's a mouthful I know, so it's usually shortened. Since it's a lesser known tale, I've included a ink for reference. There are other versions of course.
