If you're like me, you're very dissatisfied with the poetry databases currently available on the web. They either have a poor layout, or too many ads.

So I've been working on a poetry database for The Writers Society, and even though you can't join unless you're 18 or older (it's actually hard coded in), you might find it useful. At the time of this writing, there are 77 poems. I plan on having 100 by the end of the day, and a 1,000 by the end of the month with an eventual goal of 3,000 poems.

I will be bringing this eventually to YWS, and when I do, commenting as well as a rating system will be available for all poems in the database. In the meantime, check it out at TWS!

By the way, if you want to see a poem included, post it here. Of course, I can't add it if there are copyright issues involved (so definitely nothing within the last 30 years).

Nice Nate!

I'm not old enough to join, but I'll be thinking of poems to add.

This should be good - well done!

Now that takes commitment.

Awesome! Maybe I'll get inspiration and actually write a poem one of these days...?

Unlikely. But still, I feel smart reading them. Laughing

You're amazing, Nate.

Excellent! Even though I was too young to join I found it useful anyway. I was looking at the Edgar Allen Poe.
