(A school in Seattle. CARLY is at her locker. She goes to talk to SAM and FREDIE who are fighting. Carly stops the fight. She then waits)
CARLY
What is happening?
SAM
We’re fighting.
FREDDIE
She was trying to kiss me.
CARLY
Kiss you?
SAM
Ok. But we are not BF\GF! NEVER!
CARLY
Hey, it’s end of school. Why don’t we see my new neighbor Matt?
SAM FREDDIE
Sure Sure
CARLY
Ok then!
(Blackout.)
AT RISE: (a messy room with one chair and a computer)
CARLY FREDDIE SAM
May we come in?
MATT
Sure.
Carly
So Matt, what’s with the computer?
MATT
I run idate.
FREDDIE
iwhat?
MATT
idate or internet date
SAM
Oh, so you help people find their one true love. And your only 11?
MATT
Yes. I found my girlfriend, Miss. Vanessa Hudgens on here.
CARLY
So it must be effective.
MATT
Yes it is.
SAM
Well, I’m going to order Disneyland over you phone.
(SAM leaves.)
Matt
So want to know who it works?
CARLY
Ok.
MATT
LOOK AT THIS FAB INVENTION!

CARLY

FREDIE

AT RISE( Carly’s apartment. Spencer is building a giant pen.)
SPENCER
Hey Carly, mind if you’d give me that Mesozoic shrinking ray?
CARLY
Sure
(Carly gets the shrinking ray)
SPENCER
Now to shrink myself!
(SPENCER shrinks himself)
SPENCER
Why don’t you go to FREDDIE and make out or what ever you do?
CARLY
Make out?
SPENCER
Make out, kiss on the lips?
CARLY
WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?
SPENCER
Kiss Freddie, you two have been in love since when Jake preformed on icarly.
CARLY
Fine. But let me go register on idate first.
(CARLY turns on computer, goes to idate)
CARLY
Username: i_girl_101, password: icarly.
SPENCER
That is it?
CARLY
Yup! now let me look for a BF.
SPNCER
Sure.
CARLY
Ok, I’m looking
(finds a user named tech_dude_101)
CARLY
Hey Spencer, can I go out on a date with this trech_dude_101?
SPENCER
Sure.
CARLY
Ok, let’s go to el romantico.
(CARLY runs out the door)
(Blackout)
SCENE 4
AT RISE (FREDDIES HOUSE)
FREDDIE
Hey mom, I signed up on idate, an internet dating site, so now I can find MY ONE TURE LOVE!
SUZAN
Ok Freddie, but remember our promise.
FREDDIE
Yes mother, I will kiss Carly.
SUZAN
Ok, but can you see if there is anyone on idate?
FREDDIE
Sure.
(He logs on and finds a user called i_girl_101)
FREDDIE
Mom, can I go out with this i_girl_101?
SUZAN
Sure.
FREDDIE
Oh good, we’re going to el romantico.
(FREDDIE RUNS OUT THE DOOR)
(BLACKOUT)
SCENE 5
MATT
Looks like I found another pair… hey wait, it’s CARLY and FREDDIE!

This is hard to review. The characters are not your own, neither is the basic story line, so what else can I review? Grammar, which is unimportant in a script?
The script itself is cheesy and adolescent, but I cannot criticize that because the show itself is that way, and you are obviously imitating its style. I would therefore encourage you to try to come up with something original. You don't really have a story or a script until you can create it all on your own. Sorry for the harsh review, but good luck with your script writing. |
