I was actually, in my IT class and needed to find a passage of sample writing, which in the end I didn't use and instead wrote my own.

Then I decided to join. Wink

Can't wait for my one year anniversary.

I have Shafter to thank! THANK YOU SHAFTER!
We were both on this other site and she recommended this to me. I am so glad I took her advice:)

Somebody named Crimson from another forum posted a link once, and I checked it out. I couldn't fax in that permission slip, we don't have a machine, and it suddenly let me in. How weird.

I searched Google, because I wanted a place where people actually gave detailed, helpful reviews, not just 'I loved it!'

I'm very grateful to Google. Razz

I actually found it a while ago. I'm just posting in here now, though, because I've always been too lazy before. Wink

I found it on Google. Was looking for somewhere where people would give me more detailed feedback than the "reviews" I get on Fictionpress ("Wow, this is so good! Write more!") so I just threw in all the writing-related keywords I could find until I came up with this site.

I had just switched to my ELT writing class and my teacher was showing us this thing that said 101 tips to be a better writer (from this site) and so I decided to join. Yay new ELT class, because I would be dead (or dying) of bordom.

I wanted to get going with my writing, so I typed in "young writers" and found this site. I love it, by the way.

I found it in Writer's Digest...said it was a pretty good site for support so I decided to give it a try. I liked what I saw and I signed up.

I just looked up young writers at school one time. Then, this was one of the first results, but it's banned at school(No idea why), so I just figured I'd look it up when I was at home. I kept putting it off, then finally went on here at like, 12 AM. I signed up the next day. ^,^

I found out about the site from Alice. She told me about it on Yahoo messenger back in March 2007. I like this site a lot. Even though I was quite the trouble maker in my early days of the site. Wink
