EDIT: The time on Friday doesn't matter. I'm editing right now, and I actually like it a bit. Totally different style, but that's okay.  I'll just give it another look on Thursday, see if my mom can find typos (unlikely - she never does,) and submit this so you'll have it whenever you log in on Friday.

Okay. I suppose this contest is closed now. Tell you what. Since the three entrants who have submitted a story worked so hard to throw something together for this, I'll let the contest go to completion. So I will award prizes.
However, there will only be a first and second place, with the third entry being an honorable mention.
Expect the results soon.
