I love to write in the first person. I always write from the character's perspective. I personally find it more interesting.

I don't really have a specific one that I write in more than any other, but a lot of times I find it helpful to write in first person because then it limits what I can write to what that person knows. Then I don't have to worry quite so much about information overloads... although, in rare cases, it makes them worse...

I tend to write in the second person's perspective. I have no idea why.

First person.
I have trouble with third.
And I've never bothered to try second, since my writing teacher said it didn't exist.
I corrected her though.

Mainly third, but every now and then I'll do one in first. I've only ever written one in second person and I didn't know this Buchanan thing existed until two minute ago. don't really understand it Confused

The Buchanan thing is just a joke, Mars. It doesn't exist, but it does rule all. Cool

I always write in third. If it sounds good that way, I keep it. If not, I go back through and edit it (and VERY long process. Urgh.) Rarely will I begin in first.

Second person is interesting. I've only seen this done well once, and it was in a book of short stories. I'd never read a novel written this way - it's too...confusing? I'd love to give it a shot one day, though. Wink

Third person omniscient mostly, although sometimes I use first person.

I usually write in third person, but I seem to often find myself writing in first person (usually in my spur of the moment writings).

first person is great because you can show what the character is thinking and tell it from their point of view. plus you can use sarcasm.
