In your pounded-out daily poems [Wink], have you actually created something you found particularly brilliant on the first try?

Also, like in the NaNo threads, share you completely nonsensical lines here!

I'm reasonably fond of my second actually. It needs some work -- majorly -- but I think it has some potential.

I like both of mine, but I like the second more. My third will be crap because I don't have a good idea today.

I like the ideas I had the first day and today....obviously they both are going to need some work, but like NaNo, I'm doing all my editing in May.

I like my first and second day =) Usually it takes me FOREVER to post a poem up on YWS because I'll edit it to no mercy, and then I'll simply shy away from the material for weeks. I cannot post something unless I see myself in the writing--like my style, and my voice, etc.

But this experience is actually helping me churn them out a lot quicker xP They're awful of course, but not to my usual rough-drafty awfulness.

Ack, third day was just horrid. I just needed something to post xP

The two lines I've enjoyed so far in three of my poems -- "This is the symphony that no-one wants to hear" and "Pretty puddles of colour congregate / like a rainbow archipelago".

My first wasn't the best (I will admit to the truth), it was based off a nightmare, so I didn't really expect it to be happy. My second was crap. I tried writing something a little happier, but I couldn't get the words onto the page. My third day I liked, it seemed happy to me, and had a moral. My fourth I can already tell is going to be crap. Its 8, and I havent written one word worth using.

I like mine from the fifth and the sixth. The rest are somewhat questionable...

I haven't been too happy with any of mine, and I've straight-up hated most of them... but there are a few good lines, I think:

"[you] left scales behind like sinners, "

and "I want Narnia in my waistcoat pocket,
wrapped in a kerchief and set to dry. "

I've really fallen behind with mine but I have an idea for one that I'm going to write up soon and I think it could work quite well. Here's crossing my fingers...

This seems as good a place as any. ^^

Today - technically yesterday now - was the last day of NaPo for me, so now I get to edit and work out a lot of those poems, if not scratch them completely. ^^

W00t w00t!! to everyone who participated in, completed, had fun, commented, was involved in NaPo. Roxxors to those soxxors!

*Hearts* Le Penguin.

p.s. I'm so glad it's over. xD
