I just noticed something - at the bottom of the page it says 'YWS 2004 - 2007' You might want to update that. Cool

Random little thing, but in the featured works thing it reads 'Click here to READ a photo' when you hover over the art one. Maybe make it 'Click here to VIEW a photo,' so it works with all of the works?

Heehee...I'm a bit picky tonight. ;P Embarassed

Another thing about featured works: I would like to know the rating without needing to click on the "view more featured works" link.

I guess it's not really needed, but it would be nice. Razz

None of them are rated R if that's what you mean. A rated R work cannot show up on the front page.

I was just thinking you might want to make it possible to rate blog entries. Some of them can be pretty inappropriate, and since little kids are on this site, it would be best if they had a warning before reading.

Just a thought. I don't know if this is even possible, though.

The blogs on YWS are uncensored, but some blog owners put a rating in their titles if they're concerned. All entries are pretty much 'read at your own risk'.

I don't know what exactly could be done, but the debate forum is in a bit of a mess at the moment. I get the feeling that debates just go round in pointless loops for page after page. Gahks gave me this idea with his debate thread here. I reckon it would be good if we have specified people to start debates, and instead of just posting, we choose sides, get positions and then have constructive, detailed debating.

Just a thought I had, I reckon people like Sureal, Vernon and Commando would back me up on this, since we have a had a lot of religious slagging off, illogical arguements which make no sense, and generally the same debate on around five threads. I understand part of debating are opinions, but a lot of people are getting offended, I have noticed. This way, we would have religious/non-religious people on the same side.

Okay here's my suggestion. On forum could you possibly add a way to post videos from youtube straight in, encode them in. THis is more a request for blogs, but around the forum be good for ews stories and debates.

What ya think?

It's a good idea Vernon, but unfortunately, doing anything that involves bbcodes has become so cumbersome a process that I avoid it unless it's strictly necessary.

Suzanne and I are both of the opinion that the YWS Store needs a YWS backpack (if possible).

That is all. xD

Would somehting like this be okay?

Or something like this?

Those are the only two options for right now, but if you don't like them, just let me know. With more time, I can create more options. After all, if you're willing to buy it... Wink

Personally, I prefer the messenger bag style over tote bag, but the conventional double-shoulder-strap style over both. ^^

But if messenger's the best available, I'd buy it. Very Happy
