Mine (I probably missed some):
4 Non Blondes (Linda Perry is a GENIUS! Usually when I say that about someone, I'm being sarcastic, but really, I <3 this woman!)

Alanis Morissette (Yeah. That's right, I said it. Whatcha gonna do, HMM?)

Atom & His Package (Synth pop meets punk. Result: hilarity.)

Beck (You've probably heard "Loser", but he has done way better stuff than that.)

Black Eyed Peas (On Elephunk and Monkey Business)

Edie Brickell ("Nothing" and "What I Am" are the best.)

Eminem (I believe he's an important part of every white suburban 90s kid's childhood. Definitely my own.)

Fiona Apple ("Mistake", "Paper Bag", and "Not About Love" are my favorites)

Garbage ("Androgyny", "As Heaven is Wide", "Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go!)" "I Think I'm Paranoid", "Only Happy When it Rains", "Sex is Not the Enemy", and "Silence is Golden" are my fave songs.)

Gnarls Barkley (St. Elsewhere is practically the soundtrack to my life.)

Jet (Get Born album)

JFP (Homo-hop is awesome. JFP is the best homo-hop artist of all, mixing humor and overall great entertainment with a strong political message. Peace, girl!)

Jin (Only Asian rapper I know of, and a damn good one.)

Joan Jett (Duh.)

Jumbo (Like Blink-182, but Mexican.)

Kelis (Best known for a little song called "Milkshake".)

KT Tunstall (My favorite closeted lesbian folk artist.)

Living Things (Ahead of the Lions, anyone?)

Maroon 5 (Songs About Jane Maroon 5, though, not whatever the hell album "Makes Me Wonder" is off of. WTF?)

Missy Elliott (Every track she's ever been on was better for it.)

Outkast (SOME Songs. Andre 3000, by the way, is evidently insane. Have you seen that cartoon show, Class of 3000? Holy crap!)

Papa Roach (SOME Songs. "Last Resort" and "Scars", for example.)
P!NK

Queen (Freddie Mercury pwns you all!)

Queen Latifah (Especially on The Dana Owens Album where instead of her rapping thing, she does jazz, and does it masterfully. Don't have it? Get it!)

Regina Spektor (Like Fiona Apple, but Russian and quite possibly crazier.)

Smash Mouth (Even if you didn't know it, you've probably heard a Smash Mouth song and loved it.)

Storm Large and the Balls (Storm Large from Rock Star Supernova and her band. They have a song called "Ladylike". It is awesome.)

Tenacious D (You can't kill the Metal!)

Usher (A few songs. I mean, I'm not gonna listen to generic crap. Just the things that remind us that he has ascended beyond the level of most modern R&B singers.)

Vitamin C (Yes, I admit it! I loved her and love her still! My guiltiest of pop pleasures!)

Weird Al Yankovic (Gotta love him!)
