The child of boredom in Chemistry class!

Er... yeah. This was kind of the test subject. What I'm planning on doing is making more of these with a whole bunch of different expressions, waving a magic wand, and coming out with something cool. It'll be pretty awesome in the end, even if it doesn't turn out the way that I mean it to. ^^

But yeah. I was bored in Chemistry class when I did this one. I crushed it with my palms and started drawing on it when my pen went straight through the aluminium! I thought it looked like an eye, so then I scored a face into it. And voila!

I think it's beautiful. And that's what matters. =P

I'm taking suggestions for expressions, by the way! Right now I have this one (Surprised) and another (Ecstatic). And yes, they will all have multisyllabic names. Wink

Enjoy!

I personally love it. I love the idea behind it, and I hope to see more coke can sculptures in the future!

So cute! I love it, Razors. My only suggestion for your next one would be, take the photo on a plain background. Smile

I'd be interested to see "Rage" lol.

Thanks for the comments, guys! Very Happy

Jennafina >> Yeah, I was planning on hanging a black sheet on my wall and using that as a background in the future. This one's more of a test subject, to see how people respond. Wink

Huntress >> The dents are intentional. A flat surface is a lot easier to carve than a convex one. I've figured out a slightly better way to do it, though. ^^

Hahahahaha!! These are even better!!! They made me giggle right out. I like the first one the best though it sort of reminds me of a friend of mine. By the first one I mean, not th FIRST FIRST one but the first out of the three.

I wasn't too fond of the FIRST FIRST one after I viewed these ones

The background works out. But I just don't like the way the light is falling on the can in the first one (out of the three). It makes it too shiny and sort of distracted me away from from the expression on the can.

I don't mind the can dents on the cans. It gives them more of a body and structure. More personality, if you get what I mean.

Hehe, I hope you make some more!

Haha! Good one Saint! I love the angry one and the ecstatic one looks like it has a mental problem, so it looks like the angry one is getting and at the ecstatic one! Remind me of an old cartoon on Youtube. Ahahaha! Anywho, funny funny. Can't wait to see more!

Awww, the smiley one makes me giggle. It'd be cool if one an upcoming sculpture you could bend some of the metal out to make a nose or something: Just a thought.

Keep going! These are great!

Ahahaha! Brilliant love! Keep making more! Actually... my avatar came from something similar to this. I punched a smiley face in a foil juice top, then my friend punched it, makeing him "Extra Happy!" So I took a picture and photoshopped him into that! Very Happy Hehehe...
