The results are finally here!

First Place:

Sam with 'A Lively Conversation Between Two Corpses'

Second Place:

Esme with 'Saving Michael'

Third Place:

BigBadBear with 'Diggin' For Gold'

AND!

JabberHut with 'Fairytales Don't Exist'

(Note: Third place was listed in alphabetical order. This was the hardest choice, and eventually I had to stick with a tie.)

Runner's-Up (In Alphabetical Order):

LoveableLittleSock with 'On End'

Tatra with 'Renegades'

XxxDo with 'The Ultimatum'

Thanks so much to all who entered. PMs and the critiques will be out shortly.

This was a very difficult decision - you are all very talented writers. Smile

This looks interesting! No promises, but I would like to enter this.

Are we allowed to enter old pieces... i.e. pieces that weren't written especially for this contest?

Azila: As long as it follows the rules, you may enter old pieces. I'll put this into the original post.

Chocoholic: Yepp, April 30th is the deadline, but I can extend it if needed.

Glad there are people interested!

Twenty days left!

Anyone else interested? I have no entries so far! The prizes are large, and you'll have a VERY good chance of winning them.

You know you want to!

YES!! I would also like to enter. But I have a question. You said the main characters cannot formally know the side characters. Does this mean the side people are just random people or could it be like someone you know the name for and have maybe seen once or twice but don't really know? Like, a popular girl knows there's someone called Catherine Stam, but doesn't know who she is. Would that work for this contest if Catherine were to be in the side story? Need answer please.

Sure. As long as they're not close, it's fine. If they've hung out often, it won't work.

Glad you're excited! Razz

I shall attempt to rewrite my "On Fire" entry--which wasn't very good anyway. Can we do that? Cause if we can't, I'm sunk. I don't know if I can find enough time to write and edit a totally new story.
