Well, I've got it written, and I suspect it's going to get posted pretty much without tons of editing because of my time crunch. It took me an hour and a half, so I don't think it's going to win, but I guess I'll post it anyway...once I get it typed. Haha.

Never thought I'd say this, but I wrote a poem:

PHOENIX, or, Set Fire to the River

It's rather short, so if I receive more brainwaves I'll enter another. Thanks for the fabulous prompt, guys. ^_^

I'm pretty excited, too. Just because of the massive response to this.

One more day.

FLEMZO'S ENTRY: Ten Weeks

I actually used another picture to inspire me for a poetry assignment for my Creative Writing class, so this contest worked dually! Huzzah!

Nuts. I thought we could still post stuff today. *is depressed* Maybe I'll find another contest I can enter my story in...maybe. Sad Any chance you'd still take it? Ehh...probably not. I just haven't had time to get on and post until now.

Myap. Just ignore this.

NewWriter>> You can still enter. I don't even think it will count as a 'late entry,' considering the fact that in most timezones it's still the 10th.
