Question--can I use a prospective chapter from a longer story, if I shift it a little to make it stand on its own? I haven't written it yet, if that's any consolation, but it would work perfectly. ^_^

Oh shtrinks. (random exclamation of disappointment) *is depressed* I was going to write something about a fire sprite visiting a water sprite (inspired by picture #2) when I remembered that someone else wrote a poem about that idea. Now my thoughts are all skewed. ARGH! I will attempt to find another plot. *also runs off to find a pencil*

Inkling>> You should post it in the YWS Literature forums, then either post the link on this topic, or PM it to me or Kylan.

Selenasacuna>> Yep.

I guess so. I would prefer if you made it original, though. Let's say this: if people who hasn't read/seen the book/movie your basing it on is reading your story and COULDN'T understand what is happening, then you aren't allowed to enter it. By the same token, if they COULD understand it, then it's fine.

This is really just because not all the judges have read everything you have--and we need to know what's going on. Wink

I hope this makes sense!
