You can either post it in the correct section of the Literature Forums (i.e. Other Fiction, Fantasy Fiction, Lyric Poetry, etc.) and post the link here, or you can PM the link (or the whole piece, if you like) to one of the active Instructors (me and Kylan are pretty much in charge of the contest, so you can PM either of us if you want). To clarify:
First, you post your entry in the YWS forums.
Then, you either post the link here (on this topic), or PM it to an Instructor.
I hope that answers your question, but feel free to PM me if it didn't! ^_^

It's because you put a link on the main page and on the top of the index
Well, my first draft is finished, now I'm getting some critiques here. I'll post a link really soon. |

I am absolutely in. I have an idea for this. But the 1000-word limit is going kick me in the behind.
Just for reference, what is it that's burning in photo #4? I can't really tell. |

#4 is a forest fire. I think you're probably thinking of #5, though, that one's a little harder to tell; it's a burning book (I think).

I hadn't actually realized that that was there until after I posted the message.

There's a link to this in your sig too
About #5, I thought that was a log on the bottom and it was paper that was burning on top (If it's a book, I lose some key insperation. At least I still have #6) |

As stated in the first post, you do not need to draw inspiration from the pictures themselves. They were optional prompts.

| Oh, and by the way, I have this 28-line poem but it has extra short lines. Can that qualify as an entry? |

I want to be in too!
It can be a poem right? I have totally given up on writing stories... |

To answer some questions:
Gadi>> Two entries per person, and your 28-line poem should be fine.
RoryLegend>> Yep, poems are great!

I was partly inspired by this idea of Flame, to write a short story of sorts. It's a bit over your word limit, however. Besides which, it is a fairly poor effort by my standards. I haven't written a story in three months, thanks to my bedamned injured wrist.
Just giving thanks, where thanks is due.
It was a nice warming up excercise. |
